Hi Tayyibah, Its unfortunate that you are unhappy with our services. It is clear in our warranty terms and conditions the following If you are a consumer we will not accept any liability under the lifetime warranty unless the original purchaser and subsequent purchasers (where appropriate) transferring the benefit of the guarantee to the new owner of the property in question. We or you have not received any written documentation from the original purchaser to say that they are happy to transfer the warranty, however as a good will gesture we as a company made the decision that we would test the unit for you. Upon testing the unit, it was deemed as faulty however due to the nature of the fault it couldnt be fixed, we could not offer you a replacement to purchase as we do not have any in stock to supply. Our apologies that we couldnt help you on this occasion, but hope you get back on the road soon. Many thanks, Karen

Life time warranty is a LIE in it self. They will refuse to cover anything! Units not even done 10,000 miles and its already broken?!! I have had the biggest headache with them ever! You ring as a private customer and your guranteed your mechatronic will be repaired. However,if you have a warranty your expecting to have the original purchase details and prove, the invoice and full paper work just isnt enough for them. HOW CAN YOU NOT FIX SOMETHING THAT YOU BUILT YOURSELF? Makes no sense. One person tells me an order can be made for replacement and Karen the manager tells me its not possible to order a replacement. How are you in business if you cant order parts? They clearly lie to you.Apparently she did me a favour by sending the unit back without charging me even though they couldnt fix it considering its Under warranty. Please dont send your unit they will take you around a round in circles.

Quoted 1400 by Peugeot to replace the eps motor on my 207. Contacted Ecu testing and arranged the repair for 255+ Vat which included an unlimited mileage guarantee. Great service and kept me up to date of progress regularly. All competed as promised within 3 working days, would highly recommend.

Hi Peter, we are sorry to read that you are unhappy, we did explain to you that we would like to look into the concerns you had raised based on the information Audi had sent to you, however the information they had provided you was not sufficient enough hence the request for a test report on what they had tested and carried out. Also the fault originally reported in the unit was completely different to the fault you are now complaining of, the fault you are now experiencing could potentially relate to an external issue. i would still like to continue to look into your concerns however in order to get to the bottom of this we do need Audi to work with you to provide the requested information. Totally untrustworthy Audi electronic gearbox part sent with fault codes. The unit was returned with the same fault codes so was returned to them again, this time they claimed transit damage and was repaired again. Upon receiving the unit the same fault codes were present. The car was taken to Audi who checked the unit and supplied a photograph of the fault on their screen. I then tried to phone ECU Testing and left a message for a manager to call me. I received no return call so called again a week later, again this was not returned. Third try and demanded to speak to a manager, eventually someone called me and asked for proof of the fault. I forwarded the photograph and after several days they said that was not enough and asked for more details from Audi. I asked what further information they could require and they asked for a full report. I spoke to Audis workshop manager and he supplied details and the fault code, again this was not enough. As far as Audi were concerned there was no further information required, the information that they had was more than sufficient. ECU Testing kept asking for more information yet Audi said there was no more needed. After several emails and conversations with their office manager she said that they were not at fault. I mentioned taking them to court and she said that the contract was between them and the small garage that I had used, sadly he has neither the time or the money to take it to a legal level. This results in them keeping the money for a fault they have not corrected. Be careful if you deal with this business as they will not admit to being at fault and enjoyed telling me that I could not sue them DISGUSTING.
