RUDE... When I called for an estimate appointment for quote (their website menu choice isn't set up yet and directs you to call) , I was hung up on 3x's. How can a business have so many awards if they don't take your phone call? Terrible Customer Service

Hello Dino, We are sorry to hear about your recent frustration with our team here at North American Chem-Dry. We've got to be honest in saying that this comes as a bit of a surprise. We are and were extremely clear on each of these issues with you in the initial phone call. First, we aren't able to give exact pricing over the phone before seeing the actual condition of the carpet and verifying the size of the rooms that need to be cleaned. Second, with scheduling we always tell our customers, yourself included, that we require a 1-2 hour buffer which your 75 minutes fit. This allows us adequate time between jobs that may end up running later than expected. We completely understood your frustration with all of this too, which is why we offered you a deal of the century by reducing the price by $110. With all of this in mind, we want to make this situation right and resolve your outstanding issues with our carpet cleaning. We will reach out soon to discuss possible options and solutions to make sure you are completely satisfied.

Will Never Use Chem-Dry Ever Again! After scheduling a simple carpet cleaning of two small rooms over the phone and agreeing on a price, I received a call back days later from them to confirm the appointment however they had the wrong day and was told by this new person that the scheduler must have made a mistake. They were unable to keep my original time which was a time I had arranged an entire weekly schedule around since I reside out of the area. OK, so in an order to just get it done I went with their new date and time. Calling others back and doing the scheduling dance all because of Chem-Drys mistake. Then on the cleaning date, I found myself waiting and waiting for 75mins before the driver arrived. He said he has other appointments in the area later on and didnt want to get here too early because then he would have a gap in between jobs. Really, so I your customer, is left waiting in a vacant condo?? Once there he assessed the job, then quoted a price Double that which I was quoted on the phone. Keep in mind the job is only for two small rooms. He would not budge on honoring the original price, so I called the company with him there. He said it will do no good as the scheduler is in another state and is a F*ck Up. While on my 20 minute hold for a manager to come to the phone, I asked the worker for his local manager, then the owner of the company, and for him to call right now, to which he replied that will do no good as he does not answer the phone. Huh? I asked him to leave as I was not going to use his company. After walking around, he came back and said he could do the job for a reduced amount, however still more than I was quoted. I said NO, I will only pay for the original quoted price. The same scheduler person came back on the line saying the manager is still busy, but that I could leave a message. I explained the situation fully to her for which I was then put back on hold. When she came back on the line she said they will honor the original price and that she needed to talk with the worker, however he did not want to speak with her and kept walking away from me as I held the phone out to him. She said she will text it to him which I then was able to verify with him that he received. Such a headache and time wasted! Do these tactics actually work on some people? Since I am dealing with a tight time frame, in between tenants, I asked him to do the work. Now heres the even more interesting part: When he first arrived, he said the job will take at least 60 to 90 minutes, however from once he actually started until he left the job was only 25 minutes and the carpet was nowhere near clean. He explained the carpet needs to dry for a day before the clean look comes out. Now, that's not what their ad says... Its been two days; the carpet is dry and looks horrible. This entire experience was a complete waste of time and I feel Chem-Dry is a complete Sham!! Dont let their ads fool you. I will Never even consider them as an option in the future.

Bradley from Chem-Dry did an excellent job cleaning the common areas of our 12-unit condo in San Francisco. We had a misunderstanding about the cost but Bradley handled the situation very professionally and it was resolved to everyone's satisfaction. The cleaning was great.
