Hi Betty, Im sorry you felt you had a bad experience. Staff are asked to gently remind people of the necessity to make an appointment (between 1st August till school starts and for reasons mentioned below) which sadly, some people take exception to. The school is aware of the policy, it is on our website and there is a sign on the door before you enter. We are not sure what more we can do! The reasons we ask customers to make an appointment are, we have a small shop area, we have to manage a high volume of pupils (often with 3 to 4 other family members) and Covid-19. Moreover, it would be unfair on the family who adhered to our temporary policy but then had to wait to try on the uniform because someone didnt read the notices and wanted to jump the queue. Concerning not holding items, we have done this previously and people did not return which prevented other customers from purchasing, so we took the decision to stop this practice.

Rude customer service. Didnt realise you had to make an appointment, he said you carnt try anything on and be quick.......seriously. so I was having a problem with my bank card on my phone so.i asked would he keep them on hold he said I'll put them.back on the shelf if they there wen you come. Terrible
This review is not only unfair but factually inaccurate. Andy, from Cedarwood Landscapes and previously Stoneaway Landscapes, forcefully demanded a replacement for an item that was over 6 months old. We tried to reason with him and explained we would organise a zip repair, at our cost (as per the Sale of Goods act) which Andy forgets to mention. Curiously, within a day of this conversation the other gilet zip became broken! We offered to repair both zips at our cost which Andy also forgets to mention. We tried our hardest to resolve this and had no problem repairing the gilets for Andy but he was just unreasonable. This is not the first time we have had an issue with Andy so we took the view that it was best for all that he found another supplier. We then refunded him in full which Andy also forgets to mention in his review and wished him well. Andy has not spent huge amounts of money with us, he has spent nothing this year, 196 last year and much less in 2016. We try hard to do the right thing for our customers and do not wish to lose any business (however small their spend) but on this occasion, we felt this action was appropriate.

I have dealt with Summit GB for a number of years. Within the past 6 months I purchased two soft shell gilets after being advised they were suitable for work they were almost 50 a piece both items have failed. I contacted the owner Rob and he would not replace, we have spent huge amounts of money with this company and the way the owner Rob has dealt with a customer is appalling. He turned around and said find another supplier this is how they obviously deal with customers. In a nut shell I would be very careful because if you require customer care after you will not get it.
Contacted Summit (Steve) to have two football shirts printed for a Lads vs Dads charity match for Fathers Day. Other services we're giving 3+ week lead times to get it done, too long as it was a last minute sign up. Dropped the shirts off on a Friday, few emails confirming fonts/numbers i collected them the following Friday. Well printed, looks the part. Cheers!
Really easy to order embroidered work-wear. They phoned a couple of times to confirm some details which other companies have gone ahead with and it's been wrong. Very happy with the results and the service. Thank you.
