Good... until its gone. Stayed at the parking program only to get kicked out when my spouse had an "unsafe" medical episode due to disability and over 15 years of abuse. "Safe" parking program is only safe if you're abled and have an RV.

I was in search of assistance with an abusive landlord receiving funds from HUD and the San Diego Housing Commission. As it turns out, they only have "jurisdiction" over certain types of properties, which they refuse to post as a list on their website. I was referred to the San Diego Bar and there are no more volunteer attorneys to assist anyone. Instead, you are asked to enter your contact information to receive the phone numbers of attorneys who can give you a "flexible payment plan", so this should be all upfront before they can deceive the government and good people contributing to their charities. It's like finding out you paid for insurance that was never really available to you.

Always clean and safe! As mentioned to the homeless task force CLEANLINESS IS NEXT TO GODLINESS ! CALIFORNIA NEEDS TO HOLD EVERYONE LANDLORDS TO THOSE ON THE STREETS ACCOUNTABLE FOR ANY AND ALL LITTER THAT IS ONLY A FEW STEPS FROM STILL BEING IN OUR OCEAN LIFE ! NO EXCUSES LITTERING IS PRISON TIME ! PERHAPS THE DEATH PENALTY FOR LITTERING ! Once again Jewish family Services contiously serves the whole community with the purest standers and I am grateful!

Everyone was super friendly and helpful. It was an easy experience picking up diapers from the diaper distribution and food from their food drive. I'm grateful for them.

I was in the safe parking program. What a scam. They dont help people get off the streets at all they only let them sleep in their cars. No tents. I have a full size pick up and purchased a brand new bed tent for it. 200 bux. Set it up in my truck. It looked great and they made me take it down. The next day i bought a blue tarp and covered my whole truck.They were good with that.i am low income and they couldnt find me any apartment to qualify for. They only help those that have income. The easy picked fruit. It took me 1 month to even speak to a case manager so she could tell me she cant help me! In by 6 pm out by 7 am. No showers. This was the worst experience of my homeless life. Big money federal funding scam!!! Even emailed the director. Also full of lip service and useless.
