Great ski mountain but dont expect to sleep if you stay in the village. Earplugs are handed out complimentarily for lodging guests that should say something. All night from 2am onward, the snowplows are working and the constant loud beeping noise pierces through even the best insulated windows. It sounds like a construction zone. They said they cant turn off the beeping so they issue earplugs instead. I really like this mountain and would give the skiing a 4 star rating, but unfortunately they prioritize plowing the village near all the condos in the middle of the night since its lighted. So the ski in ski out concept is not really an option if you value sleep at all.

Skiing was really good was really fun but My mom had a bad ski crash when we were here and ski patrol skied right past it. She ended up needing a bunch of medical stuff and had a concussion that lasted about a week. The doctors where surprised she hadnt broken bones in her face because of how hard she crashed and yet ski patrol saw it happen and skied right past it. She ended up having to ski herself all the way down from the top of the mountain which she said was the most pain shes ever been in. If you ever get hurt here dont expect any help from people that are supposed to help you. Very very irresponsible I expect better from a. Ski place. Train your ski patrol better!

Great lodging, great food, wonderful staff and the slopes receive a plentiful amount of snow, which all add up to a memory to never forget at Schweitzer :)

Hermits Hollow completely destroyed my body in front of my son..on 12/21/2018 by Their gross negligence and incompetence.. of their blonde activities director and groomers.. and then laughed at all my medical bills.. at my 6 months off work and 5 sets of long physical therapies.. Then their attorneys partnered with the Bonner County Courthouse and laid waste to any ethics or morals available.. denying me any legal due process.. After Last year I could not use my full ski pass due to covid and my health I asked for a refund 9 times.. I had to sue them in small claims. BEWARE OF SCHWEITZER
