Meh. Made a 2 person celebratory reservation. Greeter not the friendliest, but whatevs. Even though there were many open tables, we were sat right next to a full table of humans, near the bathrooms. Weird given the times, but okay. The most interesting part was the choice in music for this type of restaurant, which included some classic hits from Michael Jackson. Best thing about this location is the beautiful murals and decor, but all-in-all not worth the $120 price tag at the end.
We came here on a Saturday for dinner and both food and service were exceptional. The Cresto di Gallo is absolutely fantastic! You can taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients. We expected good, but this far exceeded our expectations. Just make sure you make reservations ahead of time, especially if coming in for dinner on a Friday or Saturday night. Highly recommend!
We went with high anticipation as wed heard rave reviews about the place. The first sign that something was off was when we ordered a cocktail - served in the wrong kind of glass with old mint leaves. Next came the bread, which was cold and not fresh. Butter was tasty though. The appetizer special was fried green tomatoes. Unfortunately, there was something in it that tasted rotten. The main course of corzetti tasted like tuna instead of crab and the lamb ribs had a thick layer of fat. The sauce was great and the server was friendly. Sorely disappointed with the food. Maybe we shouldve just tried the pizza? Not worth the $$$ for us for sure.
