Hello Valerie! We do not see your name on our list as a participants. All of our workshops, including the UFT are open to the public, not just parents. Anyone can attend. You are more than welcomed to return. We have facilitated over 100 workshops and this is the first time we have heard there is favoritism towards anyone. I had hopes that this organization would be beneficial because the workshop topics seemed interesting...but come to find out that it's only offered to those who are parents..I did not know, as I found out about their workshops and events through EventBrite, and everyone else was informed through the UFT, and are therefore parents...sorry I was uniformed and feel bad that I cannot continue coming because I am not a parent. However, I'm not sure that I would have continued coming anyway as the workshops are a bit unorganized and there seems to be favoritism toward the participants who have been attending for years. That's not fair to newcomers. My suggestion would be to get to know your newcomers also, not just those who are regulars. Take care and good luck.
