Upset that they wouldn't honor my coupon. It took me a minute to find it and they already rang me out. I spent $49 and I had a $10 off $30. Won't go back
I am very sad to say that I had an absolutely horrible experience with this company. I had two custom-made linen panels with fringe sewed on them that had some staining at the bottom of only one of them. I asked if they could do their best to remove the stain and when I went to pick them up the stain was not out (disappointing) however, they hang in such a way that the staining is not that noticeable. But then I was horrified to find that in multiple places all over the panels they had bled the dye from the red and green fringe onto the off-white linen fabric all over the pieces. It looked like someone took strawberries and squeezed the juice all over them. Unfortunately, the staining was also intertwined into the material within the fringe as well, making it more complicated for stain removal and which made things much worse. I was so upset but the manager's laid-back attitude at this original interaction with her and feeling so upset that my panels were ruined and said she did not expect to be able to get the stains out but that she would try. She told me I could send her an invoice. That made it pretty clear to me it was apparent that Tide Cleaners on 2940 Showplace Dr. in Naperville had ruined my drapes. I explained to her that these were custom made and I would have to see if they could be remade somehow for me before I could send her an invoice. I called the company (Calico Corners) that made them originally, to ask them if I could make an appointment to meet with them about seeing if they could be remade. The manager at Tide, Lexi, said "I promise you I will have them in your hands after five on Friday so that you will be able to make your appointment on Saturday. I'm so tired of the games and lies. I had a conversation with her already twice this week checking on the progress, each time telling her I had a lot of trouble getting anyone to answer the phone there but after another argument with her today where after going around the same conversation five times, she finally admitted to me that she did say I could send her an invoice. So again after agreeing I am picking them up today she lied to me and then called me back a couple of hours before pick up time to say they won't give them back to me. So basically they have decided to pull all the fringe off of it to try to clean the area that is so stained around all of the fringe (which was also all crumpled up from whatever they did to the fringe) and then told me the fringe isn't even there at their place and they won't be ready until Wed. because she won't follow through on her word that I can send an invoice. So now I have to cancel my appointment (which was tomorrow morning) because they literally will not give me back my property as promised. I have lived in Naperville for 28 years and have never written a bad review, but then again I have never had this poor of an experience with anyone. -Jean Cardwell
