I did not have the greatest experience with SmartSign. I ordered a sign for a friend for Christmas... nothing fancy, just an engraved plastic sign. The invoice indicated an estimated shipping date but I never received another email indicating shipping had occurred, so I wasn't sure if it was going to arrive before Christmas or not. It did show up on the 21st but unfortunately had two errors. The first two lines were underlined and there was one extra space on the top line, and two extra spaces on the bottom line, which not only looked sloppy it threw the wording off center. I contacted customer service by phone and then, at their request, followed up with an email which included photos of the error. I told the representative the sign was a gift for Christmas and he said they would try to get the replacement out to me in time. It took two days for that same representative to acknowledge my email and forward it to the production staff who made the error; apparently one of many subcontractors to whom they farm out the actual work. When I responded to the email and asked why it was taking so long when I was told every attempt would be made to get it to me by Christmas, I received a response -- 2 days later -- that said only, "I will let you know when your replacement has been shipped." 4 days later, and now AFTER Christmas, I finally received an email (from that same representative) that said the package had shipped. It arrived the very next day so it had shipped several days before I was contacted. I don't know if they have just that one guy in customer service, but I only dealt with him and he was quite unfriendly, seemed put-out by my call, and didn't seem to be very competent. Terrible Customer Service! There are tons of sites online that perform this basic service and next time I will most definitely be choosing another!

I placed an order on August 28, 2019 and was informed that I would receive my order between September 4-6 2019. Here it is September 11, 2019 and I still haven't received my order. I was told that it was lost in the shipping process and that the replacement would ship in another 5 days. FIRST impression says a lot.
In my line of work with computers, the saying is "Good. Fast. Cheap. Pick two." But with SmartSigns I got all three :) I placed an order for a full color design on Saturday morning and got the proof back Sunday morning, one round of proofing, and the sign came on Wednesday. The price was very reasonable, the work FANTASTIC (they took my rough artwork and tweaked it to be AMAZING). Customer support is outstanding!
They sent me a bracket with a missing screw, they told me to go to the hardware store and match it. Instead what I was expecting was let me send you a new bracket or I can send you the screw easily. Well Roadtrafficsigns, we need 3 more signs and you just lost the business! Match that! Today is 4/24 and SmartSign is sending me a replacement! Couldn't be any happier!! Now that is Customer Service!!!

Received the wrong item which also looked as though it had been returned by someone else (the sign stand was filthy). I reported the issue immediately but had to reach out several times before receiving a response. Customer service finally responded and asked that I send pictures (which I sent promptly) and that was it radio silence ever since. Due to their lack of customer service, I have no choice but to dispute the charge with my credit card company.
