My friend's beautiful hair was RUINED at this salon. Her hair feels like dry straw from the chemicals that the stylist, Shelley, used. The cut of my friends hair is so uneven that it is hard to even imagine. The layers are not blended and the lengths are very uneven. The owner of the store, Mary Verlander, is a liar. Mary Verlander's response to my friends honest review of her salon is blatantly dishonest.

Under NO circumstances should you let Mary Verlander or her so called "highly trained and experienced stylist" touch your hair. They talk a good game, but they fail woefully and then defend the fail with lip service. Either they are used to being this responsive or they are incompetent. Their words means little when your hair is permanently messed up. The result is the same: its a fail. I know three people that will never return and are telling EVERONE they know to STAY AWAY. Shamefully disconnected from reality and facts at this place when it comes to customer service equalling their claims as a top notch business. Run away

I have difficult fine hair. I like super short and sassy and platinum blonde. Brittany Taylor is awesome. My hair turned out perfect. I have recenly returned to Baton Rouge after many years away. Salon Eden has an upbeat vibe. I asked Brittany to never leave Baton Rouge. I have found a home away from home!

I had my hair cut by Shelley and she did an absolutely fabulous job! She was very sweet, enthusiastic, and most importantly, listened to what I said. My hair looked AWESOME (if I do say so myself ;) and I've received countless complements regarding my new "do".
