It was not a good experience for me. They got me tax exempt but not on my terms. I always had to follow up with a multiple emails and calls just for them to give me an update. Majority of the the things I paid for in my packet I end up doing myself.

Kayla was no help when it came to negotiating the contract. She was not able to do as requested even though she said she would. Due to the unprofessionalism, Kayla passed this on to Cindy. I get a call from Cindy saying "The contract cannot be changed it is what it is. You got two options you either sign the contract or you can get a refund". I paid them before they could even write up the contract and they had an issue with my pace while dealing with my case. I was up till 2 am some days speaking with Kayla and Cindy as I'm overseas, yet they kept complaining that my case was not moving at the pace it should be. Unbelievable. In the end, I received my refund with one week left to respond to my case, it was pathetic how they handled this. I will not recommend anyone to use Chisholm Law Firm.

We take these matters very seriously. We always do the work our clients pay us to do and we file timely for 501c3 status for all of our clients. However, as much as we would like to, we cannot control how long it takes the IRS to issue 501c3 status. The best we can do is let our clients know up front the current IRS timelines and we keep our clients posted on the progress of their application while we wait. In some instances, clients have unrealistic expectations of us and believe we can somehow "speed up the IRS' review process" which simply isn't true. (although we wish we could! :-) But like all of our clients, we value you sharing your concerns and will continue to do our part to support you as we wait for the IRS to finish processing your approval.

Absolutely horrible customer service. I paid for them to file my 501c3 status in September and still do not have my nonprofit 501c3 status. It's February 2nd.... AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Update*** It's now April 6, 2021 and I still do not have my 501c3 status returned. I was told in November I should have received it in 60-90 days!!!
