They're OK but the cost of doing business in San Francisco means that the cost is passed through to the consumer. I get my compounded bioidentical hormones at a fraction of the price elsewhere.

Unfortunately most health insurance plans do not currently cover compounded (custom-made) medications. This is why we do not bill insurance plans directly. We can provide a universal claim form that a patient can submit for reimbursement. We find that some patients have success with this approach. We understand the frustration of having this be so different from the experience of working with a regular retail pharmacy where insurance can always be billed directly.

Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience at Koshlands. We have been recommended to John at Professional Village Pharmacy for my womens health compounding Rx and we could not be happier. Not only is my every 8 week lab test now stable but the quality in service and product is exponentially more elevated. Not only do I feel Amazing but also with consistent lab work I now only need x2 per year lab tests! My Womens Health Practitioner is Thrilled as am I. We were recommended to John at Professional Village by a fellow Koshlands customer who also switched. Also delivery with Professional Village has been hassle free overnight delivery to San Francsicso + the entire frustrating experience of working with Koshlands is now hassle free, educational, transparent, respectful and open working with John and his team.
