This place could be awesome but the security guards and horrible rules make it otherwise. Weve stayed at another Venture Out location before many times and loved it. The Cudjoe Key location should be called Venture Out retirement community as it is not kid friendly at all. There are security guards like Von on power trips who would rather get on to children constantly rather than pick up broken glass in the parking lot which is a much larger issue. Dont dare take your kids to the pool early in the morning. This is when the 70-90 year old residents like to do their water aerobics and will have their buddy Von get all over your kids for touching the pool rope. I also saw him tell a dad that he could not play catch with his 5 year old son standing 5 feet apart with a super soft pool frisbee. Then he told a mother who had her toddler in a float that she had to get out and go to the kiddie pool. This place expects children on vacation to slowly step in to the pool and swim laps. Total fun killing place. You cant even have music while laying out at the pool! You have to wear headphones! I would not recommend anyone with children to stay here. Your kids will be miserable. You have to be 18 to get in to the hot tub even with a parent. I did not appreciate my children being bullied by security guards.

This place was very nice, but the security sucks. Wasn't very helpful. Seemed like they wanted your money and then they didn't care if you made it to your spot or not. They wasn't helping after that

What an amazing place to live and also stay for a short family vacation. The customer service is phenomenal, from the amazing office staff Aile Valdez to the security officer Vanze they are all so nice and professional. I would recommend anyone looking to buy or rent for a family vacation to come to this amazing location

This place is excellent for families, couples, or by yourself. The pool area was clean and the locals will wave at you and make you feel like youre family. The swim area by the docks is another great swimming area.

Horrible experience at this place! I was harassed by a disrespectful security gaurd named Vant and he talked to me and my family like we were trash! Our car was booted because the ignorant security gaurd was to lazy to get off his golf cart to check our truck parking permit! Then they made us pay to get it off! Save yourself a bad time and rent somewhere away from this backyard scum trailer park.
