***Update*** The doctor called to help rectify the situation. I was told I was having a girl and spent months so excited for my daughter when the ultrasound came and said it was a boy. I called this place back *in tears* asking them to redraw to confirm, their only response was "It's only 99% accurate" "gender is only 99% accurate" on repeat as if the lawyer only gave them one thing to say. Completely heartless.

Dear Laura, ABC4D are the only HIS registered private clinic in Scotland, we are also the only clinics that carry out baby health checks and measurements at every scan. Our clinic is owned by Consultant Obstetrician Dr Evelyn Ferguson who hand picks the best Obstetric Sonographers available, all of whom work within the NHS. You were advised that the measurements were outwith the recognised safe percentile and the correct advice was given to receive follow up examinations by the NHS. The priority here is that yourself and your baby were monitored and a safe delivery was achieved. We understand that this will have been a worrying time for you and your family but are delighted that you have a healthy baby.

AWFUL - AVOID ALL COSTS! We visited here for a 12 week scan only to be told that the baby had a large NT measurement and it was likely our baby would have significant problems. We got an emergency appointment at the hospital who then monitored us carefully for the coming weeks. To cut a long story short our baby was born healthy and is perfect despite 9 months on constant worrying because of abc4d scan in Edinburgh. This ruined what should have been a very exciting time for us. Please do not use them - wait for your hospital scan where you will be given accurate information!

Stopped by a first glimpse scan yesterday. I do have to say upon reading the reviews, I was a little worried. Our actual experience was great! Besides the clinic running a little late, the scan went well and Wendy was super friendly and knowledgeable. She answered all our questions. The setting was great too. Would definitely recommend

Not even worth one star. Cancelled my appointment half an hour before I was due to be there causing me to cancel my gender reveal party last minute. WORST and most insensitive experience. Ruined my special day.
