Sir, it is corporate policy not to work on vehicles that have been taken apart by another party. Regardless if you feel everything would work fine, we take on a liability by working on the vehicle. We declined repair to avoid a situation where you would be charged for labor time that may not repair your issue. We apologize you are not satisfied.

Absolutely terrible experience. I called them today to come out and diagnose a no crank condition on a 1991 Camaro RS. The mechanic called me before 11 am and said he was almost there and was about to take a look at it. I did tell him that I loosened the two big 15 mm bolts and lowered the steering column down because the problem was clearly in there. I told him not to worry about the dash being removed and the gauge cluster out, it's not his car I just want the no crank condition diagnosed. It had something to do with the car having two ignitions that was just how it was when I bought it. The other ignition got disconnected and fell out somehow. About 10 minutes later I get a call from a woman and she says "The mechanic wont work on your vehicle because your ignition is torn up" I asked her what do you mean the ignition isn't torn up (which it is not, the steering column is just lowered down) the key still works it even goes to the on position it just wont crank. And its probably because the other key just got disconnected and fell out that was underneath the dash. The lights, turn signals, horn still work the window even goes up and down on the car still. There is nothing "torn up" just some dash parts removed that could be put back in a matter of 30 minutes. She kept insisting that it was too torn up for them to fix it. I was like uh okay well thanks for nothing. So I called the mechanic who I spoke to earlier and he doesn't even pick up the phone. I then texted him what happened. He comes up with a completely different story talking about "Sir It's against our policy to work on a car that's already been worked on, nothing more nothing less" What is that supposed to mean are they trying to say they wouldn't fix anything on my Honda accord because I changed the rear pads on it one time so it's "already been worked on" what ?? And the strange thing is that on their website it says they are all ASE Certified mechanics that can fix anything. If they are why did they get so scared when they saw my car that they ran away just because it's an electrical issue of some kind?? And I thought I would make things easier for them by unbolting the steering column so they could look up in there and maybe figure out what's wrong up in there?? Instead they tell me they don't even want anything to do with the car?? I bet even if I still had the gauges and dash still in when he looked at it I'm 100 percent sure they would have found any other excuse to not try and help. And they were talking about the driver's side door panel being out which was just out because when I bought the car it had a broken door handle and I was tired of reaching my arm over the door to get out of it. I never asked them to put the door panel back on or mess with the door. They tried to say it was affecting the ignition. Like really? The car was running and driving everything until a few days ago when the extra ignition key fell down. They treated the car like it's some kind of trashcar that they don't even want to look at. I can't believe they have all these 5 star reviews after my experience with them. I wonder if they are just fake reviews that they bought from Fiverr or some website. They probably dont even have enough skill and expertise to fix a broken push mower. What a sad "mobile garage"
Thank you for sharing your experience, Jennifer! Tim and customers like you are an asset and a blessing to our company. Have a great day!

Awesome service! I had an urgent issue with my vehicle dying when I was decelerating (very scary). I was lucky to get my vehicle home and didn't feel comfortable driving my vehicle somewhere to be diagnosed. I called Proficient Auto Mobile Mechanics and was scheduled for an appointment the next day. Tim W. came out on time and was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional. He welcomed all questions and genuinely seemed to enjoy troubleshooting and fixing vehicle issues. Even though I lacked the proper terminology to describe my problem, he knew the right questions to ask to understand and I felt confident in his abilities to fix my vehicle. The car runs better than it did before and I can't thank you guys enough. I will definitely be keeping their number in my phone. I highly recommend Proficient Auto Mobile Mechanics!
I called for a quote and to possibly set up getting my alternator replaced and no one even bothered to call me back! I called the day before Thanksgiving, I understand if youre busy but you should at least return the call when you come back to work! I noted when I called that I understood if I didnt get a call back immediately! Very disappointed!
