They sell magnets that are intended as children's toys labeled "hematite" and "titanium hearts" and I'm pretty sure they are samarium cobalt magnets. If the coatings wear off, which I have personally experienced playing with nearly identical samarium cobalt magnets (the spherical ones labeled "hematite"), then samarium cobalt would get on your hands and in your skin, which is a health concern.

The Peace Nook is one of the best things about Columbia MO. I have been coming here since it opened in the 90s for great books, fun gifts, calendars, seeds, gorgeous clothes, basic sustainable grocery and household items. They have something for everyone and a whole lot of wonderful programs as well though Peaceworks. Highly recommend!
