David, Would that were easy to smile our way through everything. However, two years into a pandemic and being retail employees on the front lines, that doesnt seem a realistic or authentic response to the challenges we face daily. Brought in a medium sized box of books to trade for store credit because we liked the idea of second hand books. We marked the corner or the first page of most of the books. Going through and looking for books to buy we found quite a few of the ones we traded were on the shelf and im talking 15+ books. When we went to check out out in store credit was around 3 dollars. Im not quite sure what happened there but I know ill be donating my books instead next time. We thoroughly enjoy the wide selection of used books though.

This store had a pretty large selection of used books and dvd's. Now the inventory is way down. I'd love to see what has been done with the books I turned in that they wouldn't sell, I'd love to have them back now. The staff is always friendly and helpful. But DO NOT bring books here to sell. You'll get very little for the books you turn in. I don't expect of money but getting all of $5 for bringing in over 30 books is pretty poor. And some of those books were books I bought at this store. I don't expect to get much money from a book I bought from them and then selling it back, but I do expect something if they are going to resell it. They have gutted so many history sections but seem to have plenty of romance novels. I may walk through once a year now and its just a shell of what it was.
