Went in to buy a paddle and some gear and we were met with very rude staff. Selection wasnt great, but not terrible. We wont be back.

This is a dishonest and business. I dealt with them honestly over a 6 month period. I left a deposit for a kayak with them. 6 months later and after many excuses, they did not obtain the kayak I wanted. When I asked for a refund of my original deposit, it took a month to receive only a partial refund. I would have never known, but as I went back to check into my account, the refund was short by over 700 dollars. When I confronted Chris, the owner, he then for the first time informed me of a shipping fee that he applied. For a kayak he never delivered to me! I had to go through the process of disputing this through my credit card company. What a nightmare! Underhanded and below any standard that I have ever dealt with. As a business owner myself, I would never take advantage of customers in the deceitful manner that Adventure Sports Maui did. Do not make the same mistake I did. Do not put your trust in this company. There are plenty of other choices on MAUI.

Excellent place, rented windsurf and SUP gear multiple times as well as apparel/sandals while on Maui. Great staff (Karl and others) with good knowledge and help. Highly recommend the shop while on Maui. Mahalo Adventure sports for helping our trip to be amazing.

They always have what I am looking for. They also always get things right the first time. I wanted others to know because that's hard to find now days. I would recomend them to anyone needing watersports products.
