Avoid this place at all cost if getting a Japanese perm. They completely ruined my hair. I had soft hair prior to the treatment but now all I am left with is severely burnt hair that is beyond repair. I am missing chunks of hair in the back; it may have melted during flat ironing. I partially blame myself for using their services because it was cheaper. I am beyond distraught. I am waiting for winter so that I can buzz it off and wear a hat. My hands are shaking while typing this. I beg of you. Do not use them. You will regret it.

I decided to try out this hair salon, got keratin treatment here. They did everything the best that they could, and they were friendly. The only thing I bothered me a little was - during the process of coating my hair with treatment product, some of it got on my scalp and it was burning my scalp. The product contained formaldehyde, which is a probable carcinogen. The technician should have been trained better to apply the treatment and be aware of chemical hazards.

The owner , Nelson is great! I go to him for my hair cuts and he knows how to cut any style you give him. Just show him the picture of the cut and he will match it. He is very nice! He gives good hinest advise about yout hair. And I absolutely love that he never has to use bleach to color my hair and the color always shows. I used to go to Dominican hair salons for years and the lady always wanted to bleach my hair for every color and it damaged my hair. I go to nelson once and fell in love with the experience. Now I'm taking my mother there.

ok job but scratched my scalp. 3 people worked on my hair, one did somehow good job, one straight my hair in a hurry and pulled my hair too brutally my scalp feeling painful! And another lady did offer my some extra straightening after all the process is done but this is useless after one hair wash which feel quite fake. Most of them got long nail which I feel they scratched my scalp. In addition, be more careful the chemical gets into my eyes accidentally which I feel terrible!
