after I graduated they reported to the state that I had kept attending the school and messed up my financial aid at my new college.... AFTER I graduated from GPTC. So sketchy! And after receiving a two year degree from this school, lol, only 15 of my 67 credits transferred. When you transfer to a university youll be a freshman again taking all your core classes again.
To anybody that is thinking about attending Georgia Piedmont Technical College please read these reviews and take heed to them because unfortunately I didn't, and had to find out how bad this school is the hard way. I decided to leave Strayer University and come to this school because they were cheaper but I found out this is by far one of the worst technical schools in Ga. I have been trying for the past month to get registered for my classes. I emailed and call one of the registrar's office staff (Debra Barker) on 7/26/18 and didn't get a response until 2 weeks later after I emailed everybody in the registrar's office and included the president on the email. The next morning I got a call from Ms. Blankston with Ms. Barker on speaker phone asking me what was the issue. After Ms. Barker walked out of her office this lady had the nerve to ask me why did I include the president in on the email. (Very unprofessional) if they did their jobs then I wouldn't have sent him an email. She told me that they just needed one more of my previous school transcripts and Corey Parker the director of admissions, would be contacting me. He didn't call me until a week later which was the day before orientation. By that time my transcripts were already on the way. I have an email from parchment proving that they were received by GPTC but when I called later on that week Mr. Parker told me he didn't have them but he would check the registrar's office for them. That was the last time I heard anything from anybody. Today is 8/22/18 and school started on 8/18/18 and I still have not been able to register for my classes. I'm just glad I got to know all of this before I got into any classes. I decided to go back to Strayer which I've never had any problems with them.
Im planning on attending this school , but you can never get in touch with admission to even get more information or set up your scheldule every time I call they dont answer or when I email they never respond back how do you expect people to attend a college where the staff doesnt even get in touch with you
