The shirts are certainly heavyweight cotton, no doubt about it. But the material is EXTREMELY rough and does not improve with washing. In fact, it gets even rougher after washing. Their return policy is awful. If you don't like the shirts, they will only take them back if they were not on sale (and they are very expensive even on sale) and if you have not washed them. You pay return shipping costs. There are plenty of high quality t-shirts you can buy from companies that actually care and stand behind their products. We are throwing all the shirts we bought from these people in the garbage - they are that bad.
