Planning (and then replanning...) a wedding during a global pandemic is not something I would recommend and is not for the faint of heart, however the team we worked with at Revel and Limelight were beyond fabulous and truly made it so much more manageable/bearable! There was so much up in the air for so long and they were always constant, available, and upfront with any updates or information we needed. In March 2020 when we did not know if we would be able to host our July 2020 wedding they scheduled phone calls and check-ins until we were able to make the decision to push until the following year. Then came March 2021 when we still did not know where Chicago would be by July and they were again readily available to meet, discuss, replan and move our date once again to a time a month later when we felt more assured that we would be able to have the wedding of our dreams. Then once the city reopened and we got the go ahead to replan everything as we originally planned with our guest count they went full speed ahead to make this day happen in a much shorter amount of time then what would be given had it been on a normal wedding timeline. When helping to bring our wedding life they did such an amazing job listening to our ideas and visions and to say they brought the ideas that lived in our heads for our perfect wedding to life would be an understatement. Even with the prolonged planning process they remembered and executed every minute detail we had originally planned for back in early 2020 for 2021, while changing anything that we changed our minds on along the way. When we finally got to have our decor walk through I was truly speechless that every single thing we had talked about was displayed on the tables and in the venue brought to life after such a long time of just talking about it!Our wedding day was pure magic and it was truly because of the Revel and Limelight teams! The amount of people who came up to me to tell me this was the best meal they had ever had and that everything seemed so seamless and there was nothing that went wrong-- I could not have agreed more with them. If something went wrong we did not know about it. They have the wedding day process down to a T and it just really helped with the flow of the wedding and really allowed us to just sit back and enjoy every moment of our big day. Every second of the day was well beyond my highest dreams and expectations, and they did all of this work all while making us feel extremely special and supported. When weddings came back in 2021 to say they had their hands full would be the truest understatement. They had not only the postponements to produce but also the people who got engaged during COVID. They had a year and a half worth of weddings to pull off in 6 months and they did it all while making each couple feel so special and bringing all of our dreams to life. I am beyond grateful for the team at Revel and Limelight, they made the extra year long wait/the two-year engagement so well worth the wait!

We used Limelight Catering for our wedding at the Chicago Illuminating Company and worked with Bryn Hoffman-- and it was the most wonderful experience. The food was absolutely spectacular and we both keep daydreaming about the beef carpaccio-parmesan crisp, watermelon feta-cube, and the entrees! I could eat the potato-kohlrabi gratin for every meal and never get sick of it-- it was that amazing. We loved the process of tasting the food and then getting to see it all come to life the day of our wedding. Thank you to Bryn, the chefs, servers, bartenders, and everyone else that helps make our wedding so incredibly special!
