I am hearing your great reviews but never hears about the money it`s costing you. I am have a debate with them. Evrey time I get a call from them updates are needed and of course they want more money. In a year I have paid to them almost $2,000. CAD.
STAY AWAY! I had trouble with my Avast antivirus and called their number. Their Indian tech tried to scam me out of $500 after taking control of my PC, then continued leaving messages after I cut him off of my PC. They have nothing to do with Avast, and tried to scare me into buying their product.
Tim Duncan, Folks with HP, you have no idea how helpful, gracious, and professional Tim was on our call this past friday. HP has an exceptional employee with Tim.
They will scare and gouge you to fix a problem that can be addressed for a fraction of the price with a legit computer repair shop. If you give them access to your computer for any length of time, then you are likely allowing them to open a back door into your personal information. If they sell you something you don't really need and then later come back to ask for more money, then it is your fault that you believed their BS reasons for not taking credit cards.
