Worst move and movers! I spoke with Jeff over the course of months to make sure the move from my 3 bedroom, 3 1/2 car garage to my new residence went smoothly. The day of the move they showed up with ONE 26' truck! The movers began complaining immediately about how much stuff there was and they wouldn't be able to move it. After wasting several hours of both the mover and I speaking to representatives including the owner they were going to send another 26' truck (I was told by their main guy that is the largest truck they have) to come after finishing another job. Well, the driver went to Watertown instead of Waterford! I had to have a friend and my brother-in-law come with their vehicles and a trailer to help get our belongings moved. During the move MKE movers scratched my newly refinished wood floor (the main mover along with myself took pictures), jammed my treadmill in the stairwell scratching the treadmill and wall, broke a dining room chair (pointed out by the main mover), scratched up others, scratched the dining room table, scratched the entertainment center, my upright filing cabinet was damaged, the portable storage closets were disassembled and then thrown in a pile at my new residence, broke my Desert Storm certificate in front of me and when I said 'you just broke my certificate' Captain (their mover) stated 'I didn't mean to' (and why was it out of it's storage bin and packing I still don't know and haven't found it since!), scratched the headboard and dresser! I'm probably forgetting some things as there was a lot! In addition they put clearly marked boxes in places they didn't belong. As an example my 3 year old grandson had a Jack Daniels sign, a box labeled 'basement- mop heads' and 2 dog gates in his bedroom. Lots of complaining and griping about how they keep telling their boss to have someone come out and look at the job prior to the move, but they won't. I am living with my disabled son and between working full time and trying to unpack it took me awhile, in fact I'm still not done. When I contacted Milwaukee Movers about the damage, Jeff sent me insurance forms to fill out in addition to pictures. After waiting awhile not hearing anything I contacted Jeff again only to receive a letter stating it was over a month and they wouldn't do anything! Also in the letter was that I have 2 years to begin litigation. In other words, instead of taking care of their damage, I will have to go the legal route. In addition, Jeff states the movers denied damaging anything and it was my non-MKE movers that did even though he made contact and was told they never went into their truck or moved any of the damaged belongings. I also messaged one of the managers that I still had from the moving day debacle, however I never received a response. After this move I feel I would've been better off having kids from the neighborhood or a bunch of drunk friends move me. I wish I could attach pictures to show all the damage. Very unsatisfied from start to finish!

I can honestly say that their billing practices are VERY DECEITFUL. I was quoted one price and by the time I got my bill it was nearly double, and then when I checked my bank account and some more money was taken

I had a wonderful experience with MKE Movers. Jarvis and Axel were wonderful to work with, prompt and timely, and very accommodating. Pricing was reasonable compared to other places as well. Would recommend!

Need to move 5 or 6 larger items to my new apartment less than 3 miles away. Used their online estimator and chose 2 movers, the truck, and 1 hour of labor to receive my estimate. While scheduling (30 minutes later) I was informed that there is actually a 2 hour minimum and so this move would be nearly twice the cost. Bait and switch. Will not use this company in the future, do not recommend.
