Relieved to have found a rental but there are definitely some flaws in the process. I had initially applied to an address in a neighborhood which quickly became unavailable. I was told to switch the application address to another desired home. When we pick another address, with the same exact floor plan and square footage, the rent was $100 more expensive (the supervisor authorized to adjust the rent to match the address we previously applied to) . Not a fan of the inconsistency. Felt like they were trying to make an extra chunk off of us. Communication has been difficult as well. 4-5 different people attempted to work on my application which was very confusing. However, as soon as my lease was signed, it became pretty difficult to get ahold of anyone; which made the days leading up to our move very difficult and stressful. We had zero communication with anyone from the day after we signed our lease to about 24 hours before we were supposed to receive our keys. The only person who communicated with me regularly and professionally was Shana. She toured the home with us and ensured we understood everything we needed to in order to be ready for the move. Even questions she was unsure of, she was willing to ask to find out. Thankful for a roof over our heads, but I think some of the stress could have been avoided.
Hi Javon, I am sorry you have had any difficulties getting in touch with any of our leasing agents. I would be happy to help you out. Can you email me at [email protected] and I will connect you? Thanks, Scott

Tried to get in contact with 3 different agents, to no avail.
I viewed a home and submitted my application that same day. I received a phone call stating that further proof of income was needed 2 days later, due to the house I applied for being over what I was approved for. Which, was a completely incorrect number. They were claiming it was $655 OVER what every listing on multiple websites had it as. I called them back to inform that this is wrong and there is an error somehow in their system. Upon speaking to Benjamin, he informs me that it was in fact a mistake in their system (therefore, Im MORE than qualified for the home). He then proceeds to ask me if I would like to transfer my approval to another home. I ask why I would want to do that. He states that the home is now rented, that someone whom submitted their application AFTER me was approved yesterday. I didnt get the house due to their systems error basically. Even though I applied first and should have been approved first. At this point I am highly upset, I inform him that there literally is no other home I want of theirs and that at minimum due to their error I should be refunded the application fee. He starts back tracking what he originally said, as now he realizes that I am upset and rightfully so, tells me that its a bidding war and theres no refunds Im sorry, but we are not bidding to buy a home, we are submitting applications on a SET RENTAL RATE. Of course he is of ZERO help. Says the agent will have to handle it. My realtor at this point had been trying to contact the agent since I applied anyways (days), so she calls their main office. Is told the house is still available and that the rent is again at the incorrect rate. Asks to speak to management, gets placed on hold forever. NEVER gets to speak to management. Finally she is able to speak to the agent (Alicia Thompson), and is told that she will speak to her boss and call her back. STILL no call back and is now ignoring calls. All the while the home they claimed was rented already, sat open online for people to continue to apply for (days so far). I will take this as high as I need to, and to anyone I need to. First Key homes you are a bunch of lying crooks. Taking peoples money. You owe me my application fee back, at the bare minimum. Absolutely worst customer service and experience.
