As a working Musician, reviews are vital for the success of winning more bids when submitting quotes. Gigsalad's review app is broken. I received a four star from a client who didn't know the importance of reviews. My over rating was reduced to 4.66. Since then, I have received numerous 5 stars reviews. My goal is to built it back up to an overall rating of 5.0 I have proven that the algorithm used is broken. There are reviews I have received with no change in my overall rating. On my 11 review, my overall rating increase by 1.2 points after receiving a verified review. #12 review, my overall rating changed by only .01, a nonverified review. #13 review, no change. #14 review was a verified review and instead of increasing by 1.2, the overall rating just increase by .03. #15 review, no change. I have placed numerous calls but no one cares to look into my problem. I just renewed my subscription for six months and thought they may be more helpful. During the next call, I determined that I was making no progress in them fixing my problem and asked if I could cancel and get a refund. Do my disappointment they said NO refunds. So unless they fix the algorithm for review calculations I will let my subscription run out and try another gig solution company since this one has failed me.

Hi Jim, we're sorry if you felt unheard when you called about the issue with the wrong address. The client is the one who provides the address for events. You told us that the client texted you with the correct address, but you didn't see it. We feel that ignoring your other bookings and choosing not to attend them is an unprofessional way to handle your issue with us. We never heard any other concerns from you regarding your upcoming bookings - you simply didn't show and left your clients wondering why. Unfortunately we cannot allow our company to be represented by behavior like this and feel it's best that your profile is removed from our platform. We wish you all the best.

With this company for years. They gave me a bad address to a Gig and when I called to complain they wanted to argue with me. Then my next to Gigs I they wonder why I didn't show up. Well, I didn't want them to send me to Tacoma when the Gig was in Edmonds. Worst part of this experience was having to debate with customer service every call I made to them to resolve. Meghans exact words were why didn't you go to the next two Gigs..I've explained why more than once. I think my feedback explains how I am with to others I've worked for and with. This salad has become rotten and I'll never go back.

I was amazed on the great customer service and attention I received from Gig Salad. After a miscommunication occurred they immediately assign Ryan Westeren to help me find a solution. I work for a non profit and our event is to help make the holidays fun and exciting for those kids that live in one of the poorest neighborhoods in our city. Working with GigSalad was such a wonderful experience. Hi Tom, At the point of a booking, an exact address was given to you and was listed within the Booking Agreement. We understand that it can be frustrating when a client does not respond to messages; however, there was no further information needed to appear at their event. If an exact address had not been provided, the client would have forfeited their deposit and this gig would not have been considered a no-show. After scheduling our first gig through this horrible company, the customer refused to provide important details, such as confirming the location of their event & wardrobe, both of which we obviously needed to be their artist model. We contacted the customer prior to their event a MINIMUM of 5 times by text, voice mail, and email and got NO response. At that point, we had no idea if the event was cancelled or if the customer had moved, died, or whatnot. In fact, if gig salad had looked at our last correspondence to the customer through their OWN email notification system, they would have been well aware of what was going on and that we had tried many times to contact the customer. If gig salad had done so, they would have known we had done everything in our power to move forward with our booking. After the date of the event passed and we saw our 1-star review on their site, it was easy to figure out what happened. For whatever reason, the customer found a replacement for us, which is fine, but in order to justify getting their nonrefundable deposit back through gig salad, they chose not to reply to us so that it would look like we failed to appear at their eventbut they had basically forced us not to show up. Then they gave us the poor review to justify their actions to gig salad. Its unfortunate that people will stoop to such a scheme for their own personal gain at the expense of others, but outrageous that gig salad was complicit in it. Beware!!!
