Hi Sean, We want to take this opportunity to express again that we are sorry to hear that your experience at US Tax Shield did not meet your expectations. Our representatives have previously spoken to your wife regarding concerns. Our goal is to provide the best resolution options available that the taxpayers are qualified for while working within the IRS guidelines. We prepared and filed seven years of tax returns as well as submitting an Offer in Compromise package to the IRS. Unfortunately the Offer was not accepted due to the IRS determination of qualifying factors of assets, expenses and financial ability to pay. Due to confidentiality of the matters, we are unable to disclose any additional details of the case. We secured several agreement options that were reviewed with Mrs. Flinders. We requested necessary documents from Mrs. Flinders to be able to move forward with the resolution option selected. To date, we are still waiting for documentation to be able to finalize our negotiation and the resolution arrangement. At US Tax Shield we care for our clients concerns and appreciate their feedback. Again, we want nothing more than to resolve this matter and are happy to finalize a resolution upon receiving the required documents.

The worst experience I have ever had. When it comes to back taxes and the IRS you need a company that will be helpful and quick about it. They took 7 years to handle my case and pretty much just ignored me in the end. Had to absolutely raise hell with upper management, which was even very unprofessional themselves. But then it magically took them one day to get my entire case all figured out and settled. They just drag you along and keep asking for money and all your interest with the IRS keeps piling up. Trust me you DO NOT want to use these guys!!!

We want to take this opportunity to express again that we are sorry to hear that your experience at US Tax Shield did not meet your standards and expectations. Our goal is to provide the utmost services while working within the IRS guidelines. We understand how liens can be of a concern to some people and as part of our process, the Power of Attorney makes it a priority to discuss directly with our clients options to prevent the lien from being filed. In accordance to the IRSs regulations, specific balance thresholds and tax situations, a lien may be filed in some cases. In your case, preventative options were discussed by the Power of Attorney prior to the lien filing. US Tax Shield strives to provide quality work as expeditiously as possible but sometimes we are required to wait on a certain IRS action. While cases are in queue for a Revenue Officer to be assigned by the IRS, we monitor the account, make follow up calls to the IRS, and proactively prepare documentation that the Revenue Officer may request. Upon assignment of the officer, the Power of Attorney submits all requested documents immediately. In your case, all documents had been provided prior to the deadline with the exception of the item which was not affordable for you to provide to us at the time of the initial request. In the interim of the Revenue Officer reviewing the resolution request that we had submitted for approval, you notified a customer service representative that you were not willing to move forward with services; requesting a service breakdown and a refund. A detailed breakdown of services was provided to you by the discussed deadline. US Tax Shield honored a refund for the portion of the services you decided to not move forward with as well as applying an additional refund after consideration of your concerns regarding matters that didnt meet your expectations. Per our correspondence verbally and via email, we confirmed the refund and the refund amount issued by our accounting department. US Tax Shield does not condone harassment at any level. In the situation that a client is not satisfied with services, the customer service manager or one of the other managers personally reaches out to the client. Client feedback is valuable to us, and speaking to people directly allows us to address their concerns and maintain or improve the quality of our services. It is unfortunate to read your dissatisfaction and additional reviews stating we were not complying with your requests when US Tax Shield already honored your request of issuing a refund based off the actual amount paid and provided proof of delivery. We are dissatisfied with the level of service we have received from this firm. We hired US tax Shield over a year ago to help us with payroll tax issues with our business. We paid them $29,000 as a fee for this service. We have reached out on at least 10 occasions in this period requesting a status update on our case. Each time we were told that they were waiting on a revenue officer to be assigned. In the meantime, we have submitted volumes of paper and documents which have had to be updates multiple times due to the time lapse. Finally, a revenue officer was assigned and requested more paperwork. When the revenue officer visited us, she did not have all of the paperwork needed as US Tax Shield had not sent it to her in a timely manner. Also, US tax shield did not even send a representative to our meeting, only "audited" the meeting via phone.If the attorney spoke 10 word the entire time, it would be generous. I have asked multiple times for US Tax Shield to provide me with a list of what exactly they were doing for our $29,000 as nowhere in this process have I seen the value whatsoever. During all of this waiting and in activity the IRS actually filed a tax lien on us....where was US Tax Shield during all of this? Isn't that why we hired an attorney for such an outrageous sum? I called repeatedly with complaints and spoke with Audrina before my IRS meeting. After putting their heads together, they came up with the awesome strategy of "you should get a loan to pay your tax debt" SERIOUSLY??? We paid $29,000 for them to ignore us for a year and then their big plan is "go get a loan"???? I think we would have done that if we could, and since they were not helping us while retained, we now have a lien which makes getting a loan totally impossible. I have asked US TAx shield for an accounting of what they have done for us (in our eyes, they have done NOTHING). They have missed their deadline for providing this information, which leads us to believe the cannot conjure up anything that they have done which warrants such a fee. At this point, we want a refund and we will handle this matter on our own. At least we know we will keep our deadlines with the IRS and not have to spend all of this frustrating time on the phone with US tax shield to ask what they are doing for our money....we know that have have not done one thing for us. UPDATE 2/28/18: They are now calling and harassing me. They said that since I have ruined the business relationship by posting a bad review, that the accounting department has decided to give me a ZERO refund. The mysterious accounting department also refuses to get on the phone with me. They only allow their master manipulator Adrinah make the harassing phone calls. They initially offered me $6000 refund on $29,000 refund requested. RUN AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. UPDATE: Now they send us a refund check for $6000 and are expecting us to sign it and go away. Not happening, we want a full refund.

I had spent over two years and countless hours working with my tax preparer to overcome an audit for 2014 and 15. ( Which I later learned was all due to my tax prepares inabilities that caused this audit.) I tried contacting the IRS many times to try to get answers, to no avail. The state now imposed a payment plan or they would place a lean on my home. I was sure the IRS was not far behind them! I knew I had to get some help soon! I talked with a couple of the hyped up companies you hear advertised on the radio. Not impressed at all with there "WE CAN FIX ANYTHING" JUST GIVE US MONEY AND WE WILL LOOK INTO IT speech. When I called US Tax Shield there was no talk of money right away. Juliet "interviewed" me and got some basic details of my case from me. Juliet was very professional, direct, straight to the point, no BS. ( My kind of person ) (Still no talk of moneys owed yet) After the interview she stated that she "would take on my case" and that we were going to call the IRS, give a verbal power of attorney so she could obtain more information. ( "Call the IRS" this will take hours! ) Within 5 minutes we were talking with an IRS representative! After are talk with the IRS Juliet consulted her colleges and put together a contract with a price. Within two months they were able to get all of the info that the IRS had scattered about the US between four different field agents and figure out the issues with those returns. Every two weeks or sooner like clock work I would receive a call from Arlette giving me an update or asking for more info. I cannot express my gratitude enough to Arlette and Jessica for there patience in dealing with my frustration and education in dealing with this. I am now talking with an IRS field agent on a regular basis and have hired a new tax preparer. US Tax Service customer service was top notch when I closed my case with them! Thank you Adrineh! US Tax Shield handled me extremely professionally guiding me every step of the way. We received an abatement for a large part of the amount owed, and I am extremely satisfied with their attention to detail and my account. They really stuck with me through the process, which took some time, but they were able to help me when i really needed it.

I will say that US tax shield did respond to my complaint, explained everything, was very pleasant and helpful. What I say does not reflect solely on their customer service, however I wish they had been upfront about the fact that my income was to high to really get any help before I paid. What they did do, is get the penalties off 1 year, which pretty much equaled the fee I paid and the agreement is complete. I
