There are some very gifted people here and I'm sure the good reviews from others are genuine. All seemed to be progressing well and it seemed like the source of the problem had been isolated. I would have happily paid whatever labour was reasonably spent in investigating the problem when a member of the team intervened and took over the conduct of the matter completely. He seemed to be in a position of authority - probably the owner or a member of the owner's family. Without any investigation, he said all my coils and plugs needed replacing which clearly - my plugs were brand new OEM types and I had said that and it was obvious that most or all of the coils were fine. As a result, I no longer could have any trust and confidence and it doesn't matter how good some people there are, if someone in authority wishes to sell parts you don't. Trust is fundamental. The joke is, I would have happily paid more for labour than the value of the parts if the time spent was warranted and led to a solution. As a result, rather than fixing the problem for me, they have forced me to go somewhere else with all the hassle that entails. A potentially good future customer and associated word of mouth has been lost.
The staff and mechanics at a1 diagnostics are fantastic! Had my Mercedes in with them after another specialist in Lantrisant couldn't find the fault and told me I could be looking at a costly repair by a rude women there, which could cost around 1000-2000 pounds. Took it to a1 diagnostics explained the problem and the estimate I had. Why I'm writing this review is because a1 new the cost I was quoted and I was expecting a big bill. The diagnostic was carried out at 78.00 the the repair was carried out for a total off 105.00!!!!!!!! I waited 3 months before i write this review to make sure the repair was successful and it is! Thank you so much a1 and the team, You have gained a customer for life!
I took my son's car to this garage and they sorted out all the problems. They were so helpful and the service I received was excellent. I will definitely use this garage every time from now on and can highly recommend them!
The talking experience as in customer service is good but the delivery of the service not really exists. I went with my car for a diagnostic and even though i left it there for a whole day i got charged 80 to get a paper the next day with exactly my words describing the symptoms over the phone and what I've changed and what i think it could be the issue. I had to call back all the time to check the progress of the service even though i was told many times before to leave it there that they will keep me updated.
