My experience with Virginia was very unpleasant, frustrating to the point it was causing me to act in total anger. To the point that my fiancé was concerned for me because I was so upset , that he went in to speak to Vincent ( owner )and then to the seamstress. In how poorly I was treated at Virginia Bridal. They were nice to me till I purchase my dress, Vincent was rude and disrespectful towards me on the phone. I wasnt accommodate as a bride for alterations, I would have to accommodate my work schedule around theirs. The seamstress after she said that the alterations were doable for the dress I wanted When I finally went for my first fitting the seamstress calls me into a room shes in a bad mood and didnt greet me as a guest, I felt like I was being judge for being Hispanic. They assumed I was poor and thats how I was treated. She continued to tell me that the alterations I needed be done couldnt not be completed, keeping in mind prior to me buying this dress , any and all the alterations I needed could be completed. At this point I lost my patience with her and the store She wouldnt listen to the alterations i wanted for my gown as I tried working with her each fitting became nightmare just me having to go there just made me upset. On one of my appointments I was called by Nani to ask me what day & time was my appointment?? Why would they call me to ask me when is my appointment? I assumed since your were employed there you should know. Poor customer service when Ive already had a reservation for my alterations. I spent so much money on a my wedding paid them in cash & in full before my first fitting.. I was being overcharged alterations , to the tune of $700.00 no one could tell me why I was being charged so much for so little alterations that were being done on my dress. Something that should have been a joyful and happy experience they were turning it into a nightmare. They had stolen the most beautiful part of picking out my dream dress , and made the fittings of my wedding dress so incredibly stressful Instead of smile I wore a frown. I dealt with the nasty & rude seamstress. Who treated me like a peasant. I have to say that Pepe , the other seamstress was the only person that was polite, he would listen and would fix the problem.he treated me with the respect and professionalism , a great listener. 3 weeks before my wedding on my last fitting , I had to deal with the nasty & rude seamstress , yet again, it became so intense that again, my fiancé came in to speak to Vicente . I was so upset that I just didnt care if I walked out without my dress with a 100% refundable of the cash purchase. So sad I was treated with more respect at Davids Bridal. I truly wish I had gone there first.!!!!!! My wedding was amazing, but virgins Bridal had nothing to do with it, In fact, my dress had issues that caused me to be so uncomfortable. So uncomfortable that I wore my second dress from Davids Bridal. My personal recommendation is as follows 1. Do not use Virginia Bridal 2.Do not invest in a gown of such importance from Virginias Bridal. 3. GO TO DAVIDS BRIDAL! Belle Tammerello

My daughter had a 4 pm appointment at Virginias. It became necessary to cancel the appointment as we were traveling from out of town. I did so at 1pm for a 4pm appointment and my daughter was charged $50! I was not informed when I canceled that this was the policy! She had already been asked by the shop to come in earlier and could not make the earlier time. I normally would not leave a review, but this is a young woman in her 4th year of med school, her time is very limited, and she lives off student loans. This is a special time in her life that should be about the bride not making an easy $50.
Thank you for such kind words. We are so happy your whole experience was wonderful and enjoyable with us, start to finish.

From start to finish, Virginias bridal was a dream to work with! I came across this location while searching for a Pronovias trunk show outside of Manhattan. Although Virginias bridal was my first stop in wedding dress shopping and 30 miles from my home, I knew right away it would be my only stop!! From my first appointment to my last, my bridal consultant Nani was absolutely AMAZING! Patient and kind, she walked me through every step with professional honesty and without pressuring me. Nani listened to what I was looking for and pulled some beautiful options, and even picked the most gorgeous Pronovias veil to go with my chosen Pronovias gown. Nani was with me every step of the way and made something that could be potential very stressful into such a wonderful and fun experience!! Each and every time I went in, I was always greeted with a smile, an impeccably clean salon and unwavering accommodations to fit my busy schedule. My alterations done by Denise were perfection!! I wasnt thrilled with the sleeves that my dress came with, and Denise MADE my dream sleeves after rush ordering additional appliques from Pronovias in Spain! The material of my dress was extremely difficult to work with but looked seamless with Denises alterations and bustle! Your wedding dress is such a crucial part of your big day and both Nani and Denise made sure that my dress was absolutely perfect for my wedding day! I highly recommend Virginias Bridal, especially to anyone who is not a fan of the wedding factory feel of the larger bridal salons. Thank you Virginias Bridal for a truly wonderful bridal experience!!!
Never go here. Overpriced dresses. Horrible experience. I am a bridesmaid for an upcoming wedding in NY. I live in Florida. The bride asked for all our measurements and they all gave us 5 sizes too big. It's funny because they asked for 20 extra for bigger sizes which we didn't need in the first place. When asked to fix this they wanted more money for alterations and took no responsibility for their actions. Unprofessional! How are you gonna blame the customer for taking their measurements and getting the wrong dress??? Especially when you're already over paying for it. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere cheaper.
