Not quite sure who I interacted with, but came in with my wife for a custom frame for a painting I had just purchased. Was greeted and showed options, everything was going great - thats until I said I was shopping around the neighborhood (which I made clear when I walked in) for quotes on custom frames. Towards the end, when I asked for a printout of the quote, this individuals demeanor completely flipped 180 and they became rude and acted if I was burdening them in some fashion. They attempted to roll up the painting I brought, to place it back into the tube - but they hadnt rolled it tight enough and they told my wife and I that we should try to re-roll it and they quickly left to go back downstairs. I was a little dumbfounded at this, because Ive never seen someone act in this fashion before. Needless to say, she set the bar very low and when I went up the street to the next framing studio, they were slightly more expensive, but they treated me as if they wanted my business even when I said I was just in for a quote. Take your custom framing needs anywhere but here unless you enjoy abrasive customer service.
This is clearly a bot or troll account. All the other reviews have no record of this human and the same is the case here. We have had no customer named Steve M. This is a fake review- Google please take action. Also everyone knows we do all our framing in house.

I've always wondered why someone with literally ZERO personality would even have a business thats open to the public... Amanda is simply unpleasant and acts like she is doing you a huge favor by charging WAY too much money for ordering a frame for you.. according to her they don't do the framing there, they're basically like a dry cleaners and just send the art out to be framed and resell, I recently switched over to A street and they been exceptional with service, turn-around, quality and selection.
There is no better framing service in Boston or its local suburbs. Amanda Accardi and her staff have a background in art and painting so that their suggestions and advice turn each piece to be framed into a work of art.

Very happy with my experience. They order the wood/material for the frame you pick out and then they put it all together in the store. They did tell me my order would take 3 weeks and it took a few days over a month, but I'm so happy to have the final product looks so beautiful! They have many many options to choose from and they helped so that I didn't get overwhelmed by the choices and didn't feel swayed in one direction as a newbie to custom framing.
