Dont waste your time. 0 stars. Nothing like what it used to be. No more dogs. No more short sled dog rides. No different than any other gift shop out there. The movie seemed more like an ad for dog food. You will learn more about the race/mushing from any of the movies out there. Museum has a few memorabilia items in it and Togo. Thats honestly the most impressive thing, damn he looks good for being stuffed for nearly 100 years.

A very interesting place to learn about Alaska and the history of the Great Iditarod Race and the story behind it is breath taking!!

I'm so glad we visited! The museum was so informative and interesting, and the sled ride was fun. And they had Togo there! The more I learn about dog sledding, the more endearing it becomes.

Iditarod museum. Whats the point of this place out off kgb?? I think they should have this place in down town anchorage
