BEWARE!! COMPANY DELETES BAD REVIEWS!!! Disappointed. I purchased these boots around christmas time to wear on my motorcycle. Since it has been winter I have only worn them maybe 20 times. While putting them on yesterday the pull loop on the back ripped at the stitching which is definitely a design flaw. I contacted customer service and they told me that I am out of the 30 day warranty. I have been wearing Red Wing for years and have never had a quality issue like this before. I will not purchase another pair of boots from Brunt and will stick with my American made boot companies from now on.
The only good thing about Brunt is the advertising. They stay right on top their ads. If anyone says anything negative the comment is deleted promptly and the complainer is banded from ever making another comment. This practice makes it appear as though there are only good comments. The reality is that these boots fall apart quickly...were talking weeks. You are better off buying boots at Walmart.
Well, since they only give you a couple weeks to put a review on the website, I'll leave mine here. I don't think anyone can give an honest review of anything before actually using it for a while, and I have been wearing these boots daily for about 4 months now. In that time, I have put about 300 miles on them, and will put about 1200mi over a year. Out of the box they were comfortable, but a touch stiff. I immediately replaced the insole with a commercial grade one that I use in all my boots. The factory one was delaminating out of the box. Break-in time was quick. They felt pretty good after only a couple days. I have pretty bad plantars heal, and my feet usually kill me after being on them all day. With the Brunt, I have had very little foot pain. The boots are comfortable now and fit my foot quite well. The true test came a couple weeks ago when I had to deal with a building flood. The water was up to the laces, and I had to stand in it for a good 1/2 hour. My feet remained dry and the boots held up. I am anxious to see how they still perform past 1000 miles. If they could just make these in the USA, I'd gladly pay the added cost.
So the soles of my Martin boots are slivering they say that they use the highest technology and best quality materials I've never had a pair of Souls Splinter off in little shreds I will talked to them about it and they told me that they have a 30-day guarantee but they don't stand behind defects in the materials they use
