Wonderfully engaged and knowledgeable people. Very patient with a novice like me. Absolutely stunning to realize we were looking live at sights from 23 million years ago in one case as we viewed the Pillars of Creation, Whirlpool galaxy, decaying star M57, Saturn and Jupiter, and other wonders of our universe. Good facility for amateurs to use, it is a shame the lights from the foot ball field like 2 miles away can screw up the light a bit.

Amazing place to look at the Moon, stars, planets and deep sky objects in real time. They also use a camera to show things normally too hard to see. It's gotten easier to find the park entrance; look for a sign on Bear Tavern Road on Friday nights when they are open.
