Extremely difficult to work with. long story short, my wedding dress was a mess, didn't fit, and with two weeks to go before the wedding, I had to hire someone to rush fix it (costing another almost $900). I never got my wedding dress back until 11 am before my 2 pm wedding. Extremely unprofessional person. When you call her out on her mistakes, she snaps back and doesn't apologize. Does not take responsibility and makes excuses. Even when asking a simple question on her availability she snaps back and gives you her whole life story. So unprofessional! I asked for a partial refund only to cover the costs of alterations I should never have had to get done and she refused (my new seamstress even sent a very nicely worded invoice too with pictures as proof of the disaster she had to fix). A $2000 custom dress should have fit me like a glove. Instead, I received a dress full of mistakes that a different seamstress had to work very hard to fix. She had to replace the lining and all the red fabric (my wedding dress had a lot of red). Total cost was close to $3000 when I was originally quoted almost half that. New seamstress said it was a miracle I had a dress to wear at all. And still, the lace and beads on the sleeves FELL OFF during my ceremony and reception. Terrible and unprofessional quality. Brides should stay FAR AWAY and save themselves the stress. Weddings are stressful enough, don't add Leila to the mix.

I cannot express enough just how much my experience with Leila at CCB added to my wedding process. Leila is incredibly professional, timely, detail oriented, communicative, and INCREDIBLY talented. She added so much joy and love to my wedding preparation process. Her favorite thing to say is that the dress fitting/ making/ alteration process is a dialogue, and so she listens and encourages you to speak your mind, all with the goal of making sure every bride feels confident and beautiful on their day. COVID-19 derailed my original wedding plans, including the plans for my original dress. In a matter of weeks, Leila stepped in, designed a custom gown from scratch, had several fittings with me, and had my perfect, unique dress ready before my wedding day. She also made me and my then-fiance custom masks and also tailored my then-fiance's suit. On top of that, she framed her sketch of the gown and signed it for me to keep as a keep sake. I have that beautiful sketch hanging in my bedroom as I type this. I had no idea when I started wedding planning that my alteration specialist was going to be one of the best parts of my wedding, and yet here we are. I received so many compliments on my custom gown, I felt like a queen on my day, and the dress will forever be one of my favorites. Thank you for everything, Leila!

Working with Leila might have been my favorite of all my wedding planning experiences. She really becomes your best friend the second you walk into her adorable little studio. She listens to all of your concerns and even watches your body language to be sure that you are 100% satisfied and confident in your dress. My dress fit like a glove all day and night even with it being pretty low cut. I was never worried about the girls making an appearance. The best part, Leila added pockets to my dress! Yes, POCKETS!! I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with Leila!

My daughters were both flower girls and asked to wear dresses that matched the bridesmaids. Leila not only sized down a dress to fit my 5yr old daughter, she also made a custom dress from scratch to fit my toddler. The dresses turned out perfect, and Leila was a pleasure to work with!

Leila was so great to work with, I highly recommend her for any alteration needs. I had already bought a dress that needed to be altered but her custom gowns are gorgeous as well! Dress fittings can be anxiety inducing no matter who you are but Leila made the whole process so easy with no pressure, highly recommend!
