To your most recent comments that were placed on our review page in August 2019, the misunderstanding you are speaking about was not about your child in any way, instead it was related to a payment that was owed to our agency. Your child has always been treated with respect at EVERY event your child has attended in the last 2 years and we have been accommodating to your child's needs on more than one occasion. July 30, 2017 Thank you for the kind words. We strive to help our members have as realistic an experience as they can to help generalize their skills to the real world. Also to provide a safe environment for them to be kids, even when kids make mistakes (as mistakes happen, even for adults!). However we could not do any of this without the support of their parents who help prepare their child each week for the activities.

my review is no longer true, therefore am taking it off since I am now questioning the way Dr. Harrier values my child...We have always paid every event even if my child ended up not attending and even made donations! but to ask for money on an event that we never received a final confirmation email for is simply not acceptable considering our good record! The fact that she isn't owning up to her error is a big red flag! all she cares about is her money! not the relationship with the kids and their parents.
We are quite sorry to hear that this happened and are not able to determine when this happened so we are not able to address it with you. We have not received any communication with you regarding this matter and would greatly appreciate it if you could reach out by phone or email and contact us so that we can certainly hear your side of the matter and see how we can internally correct this situation and apologize to you for any errors we may have made.

Unprofessional pushy director, and lead staff is no better. My child was literally bullied by "Ms. Thatcher" and came home crying. As a parent I expected my child to be treated with respect and not judged for being different. I unfortunately experienced the opposite.
Thank you for your kind words and we are glad your son is flourishing. He has worked hard and he is lucky to have such a supportive home environment. We at UTH are glad that you are seeing, and he is too, the changes from all the practice.

This group has been life changing for my son and my family. The director and staff have helped him understand in a non-judgemental environtment the social rules. It is much better to learn from others in this group where everyone is learning then to be bullied at school for not understanding the social rules. They set high expectations and teach him how to meet these social rules. It is hard sometimes, but learning a new skill is not easy. I explain to him everyone struggles in life with something. Some kids it's math or science. For him it is social skills. This is his tutoring for how the social world works. I will always recommend UTH.
Really amazing place. Great programming for multiple age levels and a variety of challenges. Kids learn to deal with problems head on here with peers that have their own struggles. They learn to help support each other which is an amazing thing to witness.
An organization that is not inclusive. The initial intake call was so unprofessional and uncaring. Employee was rude and abrasive. Would not recommend.
