Dear Buzz - I apologize if you felt mistreated during your interaction. As the owner of Blue Orbit, I want to be sure that everyone who reaches out to us is treated with respect and care. That said, the intent of our website is to discuss potential client needs and challenges. We receive calls every day from outside entities seeking discussions about vendor partnerships, jobs, product endorsements or simply to access to our client list. We are very protective of our client relationships so, as a rule we dont give much oxygen to unsolicited help offerings. Based on the brief details you shared, it appears that you were seeking a relationship other than client/consultant so Im not surprised you experienced a short call. If you called today, wed answer and, upon discovering that you were seeking a relationship other than client/consultant, wed politely end the conversation as quickly as possible. If you were insistent, belligerent or otherwise forceful, wed accelerate our efforts to end our conversation with something like, thank you for calling but were not interested. I dont know what a not-for-profit think tank is and seeking help from one is not in our strategic plan. Upon searching for you online, we an find no one with your name associated with a non-profit think tank so I have no choice but to flag your response as inappropriate and inapplicable. Considering I take most new business calls and dont recall speaking with you, and cant find any relationship between the names you shared and a non-profit think thank, I can only assume nefarious intentions.

I dont normally do this. My name is Barry Shortman This is not a normal review because all I experienced from them was their customer service and PR. Thats all I can attest to. I run a not for profit think tank which actually, ironically enough, consults restaurant consulting companies, and I found their reaction to my earnestly open hand of help to be extraordinarily disappointing. Im not leaving a one star review because Im not sure if the reaction of one single man ought to reflect on the whole company, Im willing to take my review down if I receive an apology. There is no way how we in writing can describe how much Ray and Blue Orbit have changed our lives. We moved to Atlanta from Europe with the dream of running our own business and had decided that a restaurant was the ideal thing for us. However, we did not know enough about the American market to get things going alone and ended up hiring Ray as our consultant. After a few meetings Ray sat us down and told us the truth. Today, 2.5 years later, we own a very successful furniture studio in Atlanta where we design and fabricate furniture and more for both residential and commercial clients all over the South.
