This is a 1.5 start hotel AT MOST. A lot of the rooms are at the basement with no view. They're stuffy and stinking of mold. Bathroom has no vent and smells of sewage. Staff is nice, but they cannot help with these fundamental issues. Oh, and I believe most of the reviews are fake. Avoid.

I don't know where to start. First of all, this clearly is a 2-star-hotel, definitely not a 3-star-hotel. The room we were put in, if you can call it a room, felt like a cupboard under the basement stairs. Being a tall guy, I had trouble moving around. The bed is way too small if you're taller than average. Using the toilet is difficult, because the sink is right in front of it. You can't easily turn around and sit down. The shower drain in our room was clogged, the shower head broken. There is no shelf to put your toiletries on. By far the most annoying thing was a constant beeping sound in the basement. We had no idea what it was, but it kept us awake at night. Even informed the reception about it and they promised to resolve the issue. Empty promise it turned out to be. We will never ever return and wished we spend some more pounds on a more decent hotel. I highly advise anyone reading this to do the same. Spend your hard-earned money elsewhere.

The positives: Comfortable beds Good showers Incredibly friendly staff Small bar serving drinks The draw backs: Rooms are really small - sufficient, but small Towels are smallish Rooms were replenished with tea/coffee/towels but the beds werent made Nice location. Ten minute walk from Kings Cross Station. Theres a bus stop right outside, and on the top of the road theres a co-op and a couple of nice pubs. It was clean enough but not immaculate. Breakfast was a grab and go bag and included a carton of juice, two pieces of fruit, muller yogurt, granola bar and a croissant with butter, jam and Nutella. Sufficient and really nice but not the same as a cooked breakfast! Id definitely stay again though

Hotel room was extremely small, very claustrophobic. The rooms were very dirty, window ledges, bed ledges full of dust... And sticky side desk. The receptionist was nice but hotel was not up to scratch. Would not be going back.
