They rescheduled my appointment over a week later than when they said it would be done, and said that they couldn't do it earlier do to commitments to other customers. Apparently their commitment to me was not as important. They also didn't contact me before the installation and called me to reschedule (to 8 days later!) less than an hour before they were scheduled to arrive. I was told it would be a few months when I first purchased the window installation. Which is fine, I understand they're busy. A few months later and I had heard nothing so I gave them a call and was told I was scheduled for February 14th (Monday). I called them on the 11th (Friday) because I hadn't heard anything yet and wanted confirmation they would arrive. I was offered a slot at 8AM and accepted it. During the weekend however I was called and told that they wouldn't be able to make that time because they had fallen behind schedule and could arrive just after lunch instead. I was ok with that but then on the 14th I was called at 1PM and they said they couldn't fit me in that day at all, in fact they couldn't do my installation until the 24th! I had already moved all my furniture and taken down my curtains because they were supposed to be here any minute and now it would be over a week until they installed my windows. When I questioned why they couldn't do it the day after I was told they had a commitment to another customer, and commitments to customers all the way through next Wednesday. And I was being bumped because they were behind schedule. I'm not sure how my appointment was not considered a commitment to a customer. I have not had my windows installed yet, so I am not reviewing the quality of installation. But the scheduling has been horrible. I do not feel that my time has been respected, I have not received what I consider sufficient notice of scheduling appointments or changes and I have been almost explicitly told that I am not as valued as other customers. I understand they are busy and I am happy to reschedule within reason but to be told they won't bump other customers but I have to be bumped 8 days out is unacceptable. Edit: I have since recieved the installation and the quality of both the windows and installation are good. Nothing against the service people who did a great job and were friendly and professional. Just the scheduling experience was terrible.
I cant say enough about how professional this company is and what great work they do! We are SO happy with our new windows and sliding glass door. Just had 2 young men stop by to help me with my screens. They were so professional, helpful and knowledgeable! I dont know why anyone would go anywhere else!!!!! Thank you for the excellent service Garrety Glass!!!!
