Hi Taylor! Thank you for taking the time to provide the review below. At the time this couple booked with Port 393, there was not a greenery wall at all. We agree the wall needs attention, that's why we placed an order in January for new greenery wall and custom planter boxes to outline the entire rooftop. The cost to achieve this is $19,000 however we are not increasing our costs to brides. Due to Covid supply issues, they have not arrived. We reached out to the company supplying after this review, and he replied with "I totally understand. I apologize. The whole industry is super tough right now. We are doing our best. We have some supplier issues and capacity issues". Covid has impacted everything in the world, including our ability to upgrade the wall currently. Being a small business, we understand some things are beyond their control and we choose grace in these situations. Port 393 does offer an outdoor ceremony space. As it's outside, it is subject to the elements. There is never liter/etc on the rooftop. We have hosted over 300 events on the rooftop at Port. This is the first review commenting on the outside ground. Port has a full decor division. Even with our rentals, we are flexible and allow outside providers. Anything rented thru Port is set up by our team, any outside decorations are handled by whomever rented them. The bridal suite is air conditioned, we have a thermostat to turn the temperature down as low as desired. In addition to the bridal suite, wedding parties take over the entire upstairs for hair and makeup. This provides for over 2000 sq feet of air conditioned space and another 2000 sq feet of outdoor rooftop to spread out. All of our couples are assigned Venue Managers. Venue Managers are simply responsible for a clean building and cold drinks, nothing else (timelines/vendor management/important details etc as a Day of Coordinator would provide are not the responsibility of Venue Managers). As Venue Managers are not deeply involved in the couples wedding day they are subject to change. The employee who was supposed to be the Venue Manager did leave for another company and we wish her the best. In this specific situation, as we highly value our clients the owner elected to personally manage the venue for this night. In order to eliminate any concerns regarding this transition which was communicated to the couple ahead of time. The bride in this case was very happy when the owner told her that she would be managing the event. Many other venues often provide a point person that the couple has never meet before. Given this situation, we feel that our team did the best under the circumstances. Port has invested over $2.5 Million into this facility. We have grown our staff from 7 in 2020 to over 40 in 2022 to provide the best experience for our couples. This 1 star review not only goes against the previous 120 reviews (4.8) but is inaccurate with the exception of the greenery wall. We wish you all the best!

DO NOT BOOK. Seriously. I was the florist for a wedding and was honored to attended but let me fill you in on the horror. First off, this venue seemed so amazing until it didnt. The roof top spot getting married seemed awesome until the day before and the greenery wall was dead or missing. I was contacted by my bride in tears the night before asking if I could just do something with it. She was promised it would be renovated by her wedding day and trust me it was not! The roof top was also dirty. If you have a wedding venue- the brides dress should not be ruined with black marks within her walk down the aisle. As soon as her white dress hit the pavers- it was black ALL NIGHT AND FOR EVERY PHOTO. The bridal suite was also teeny and so warm. The set up staff was not super helpful and to top it all off the day of coordinator QUIT within 10 days before the wedding because of how awful the venue is and hated lying to her couples. TRUST ME WHEN I SAY DO NOT BOOK HERE!! EDIT- to reply to the lovely owner. Not only are you trying to Gaslight me and future brides- I was not only the florist but sister of the bride- this is all true things. I was never formally introduced to the owner who was supposed to be there. Yet- threw drinks at our mom to fix her mistakes and make nice. Sorry the booze package the bride paid for isnt how you fix your horrible venue.

Very disappointed with unkept promises by the owner and the behavior of the staff the day of the wedding. Its a street noisy venue located amongst industry. Bride and groom beware and make notes of all conversations.

Port 393 is a beautiful venue! It is a spacious, clean, and an impeccably decorated space for any type of event. The rooftop is stunning, you will want to sit there with champagne in hand for hours! Well done Brian and Candice!

This venue is incredible! I DJ at 60-70 weddings every summer and this is by far my favorite wedding venue of all I've seen. They make everything so simple for their couples mostly because the venue offers everything and more that's needed or could be wanted for a wedding. Whether it be modern sunshades to block sunlight from the windows or a 4K projector if you wanted to show your ceremony video, they can accommodate for anything you throw at them. Absolutely recommend to anyone!

For this reason our team has discussed your concerns and we wanted to communicate the following with you; Our in house rental service is meant to be an optional resource for our couples! If you shop around you will find that our rentals are very reasonably priced. Our rental prices reflect the product cost, staff setting them up, tearing them down, cleaning them and all of the other services that come with decor rentals. We welcome the use of personal decorations or decorations from other vendors. Port 393 has a Class C Liquor license. We follow the guidelines set by the state with extreme care. To further explain, altering the contents of a bottle of liquor is illegal. Port 393 has never and will never participate in this kind of activity. As you stated, our pours are extremely accurate as we use industry standard automatic stops. This eliminates over and under pouring of liquor. Our drinks are parallel to industry standards. The venue was fine for our wedding. They nickel and dime you on wedding decor, but the most heinous thing they did was water down the liquor in the mixed drinks. Incredibly embarrassing to have numerous guests at your wedding approach you about it, noticing an appropriate pour being given.
