This is another review written by a person who has submitted here and elsewhere under assumed screen names that are always newly created and have no other activity other than disparaging our firm with similarly styled claims. We are sorry for whatever pain is driving this person to continue this behavior. We say at each review this person should identify themselves before an attorney review panel for these types of serious claims if they really believe them. That has never happened.

Interacting with this law firm was incredibly exhausting. Attorney Kevin Black conducts himself in a different manner when in front of the courtroom and his peers. Note: if you're going to discuss your outside affairs please don't do it in front of your clients. Beyond Attorney Black's egotism and demeaning manner which was degrading and beyond rude. Lost papers, his presumptuous claims that he knows what he's doing when the end result was completely opposite. Please save yourself the difficulties and problems and hire a lawyer who conducts himself professionally and will put effort into your case.

Kevin Black has helped us on many occasions over the years with issues ranging from minor teenage issues, real estate closings and to most recently the creation of our wills. He has always gone above and beyond to accommodate us. At times we had to trust his judgement and vast legal knowledge. I'm so glad we did. Kevin is a straight shooter and will always be honest with you. Most recently I have suffered with some disabilities and Kevin was empathetic and understanding when it came to my mobility issues. I have met with Doug Bayer on a myriad of issues, none of which ever seem simple, and have to say he has always professionally guided me or my company in the right direction to find a good solution to the matter. Not only is he well versed in the law, but also has a unique way of cutting to the chase. Dear Ms. Wilson: What was the outcome of the case for this "person close to you?" It was a dismissal. The best result you can get under Connecticut law despite dealing with a very, very difficult and oftentimes demeaning client. I would never let that fact get in the way of the best outcome possible. Mr. Black is very unprofessional. He was a public defender for someone I know very close to me and he barely helped the kid. He hung up on his client while on the phone with him. He called his client names. He even told him doesnt get paid for this. This makes me every upset because hes suppose to help these people who cant afford a lawyer. He is a very poor excuse for a lawyer & someone that suppose to represent the state.
