Hey Troy just to clear the air.... any parts that we get are donated to the shop. Customers always have the option to pick up any repair that is unrepairable or repairable. No scams. We have plenty of return customers and referrals who have minor and major issues. You may have a different place in mind.

Thank you Jason, I appreciate your business! Update! This was changed from a 5 star review to 1 star review. I misspoke on the phone with his wife and was waiting for the company to refund the business PayPal accountso that I can refund his Paypal... that was the delay. Most companies that you order parts from don't do a refund unless the part is defective, not if you just don't want to do the repair anymore. Customer has been refunded in full! One good experience/one bad experience, the bad experience was a full refund.

We have younger kiddos that still love the original Wii, and my wife and I enjoy the ol' skool Nintendo games we downloaded on the Wii. The CD reader went out on the Wii and everyone was sad because we thought it was the end of the system. But after some research, starting with me trying to do-it-myself (nope) I found Gear Up. For a fair price and quick service, we got our Wii back to life. I'd recommend Gear Up for any electronics that need a little TLC. Customer service was top notch, every step of the way. UPDATE/EDIT 10-28-19: Kirk said he could fix our son's broken screen Amazon tablet. Two months later, after handfuls of excuses of parts being wrong, him being out of town, etc, we took the tablet back and he said once the parts refund came in to him, he'd paypal us our refund. Months later, nothing, he's feeding us a line of B.S. that he's waiting for paypal to process the transaction. Paypal is instant, I use it daily, there is no waiting to process anything... He's basically telling us the "check is in the mail" I used to trust this place, but it's unreliable and feels like a scam now.

Kirk was a pleasure to work with. I walked in with a specific hardware issue and we talked through the options available. He worked with me to get the issue resolved the same day restoring my device that had been dead for over a year to full working order! I would highly recommend this store purely for the service Kirk provides. It is a rare find nowadays.

Fake review again.... I do free estimates and always confirm a price before the repair.... Majority of cases, I'm way less expensive than any other place in town and also give return customer deals and discounts.... no chance of scams. I always call when the repair is done and customers are welcome to call or come by anytime to check on status of the repair. Customers are not obligated to leave any repair longer than they want to.

Absolutely horrible experience. Owner is a scam artist and should not be trusted. He is extremely lazy and doesn't keep contact with his customers. No phone calls and no follow up. Does not get your items repaired in a timely manner and does a horribly amateur job at attempting to fix. Total rip off don't waste your time here.
