Hi Jonathan, I'm sorry you didn't like our return policy. We certainly do not try to hide it in anyway, and store credit is the norm for most non-chain stores, and most shops on Newbury St. Clothing is very season specific which is why returns are store credit only. Just so you can understand, our seasonal wholesale orders with Hemp vendors are placed 9-10 months in advance, without the possibility of re-orders throughout the season. Orders are paid for before they arrive to us. That is the inventory we have for each season, without any opportunity to change it. 80-90% of fall winter inventory is sold between October 15th thru Christmas. If items come back in January, chances are that item will not sell until next year at a substantially reduced rate. We are known for being one of the most inexpensive places to find hemp clothing online as we almost always sell at the lowest possible MSRP prices, below suggested when allowed. I understand the amazon, and big chain mentality of free shipping, free returns etc, but the reality is, that model is only sustainable when there is either stock money, or venture capital allowing the store to lose money in return for gaining market share. It is not economically viable for small business, who actually pay there bills and employees with money from their sales. I realize the many people think the dollar is the bottom line, but commerce is a 2 way street between merchant and buyer, and should be reasonable if both are to be successful in the purchase. We have been in business for 22 years on Newbury St, making us one of the oldest tenants here, mainly because we try to operate as fairly as we can, and treat people right while also staying profitable. Not an easy task in todays economy. I'm sorry you felt wronged and hope you can understand what we are about.

The return policy is 15 days and you will only get store credit back even with a receipt. I found everything I bought online for 30% less. I understand rent is probably high on Newbury, but yeesh...
Everything is waaaay too overpriced, even the most opulent tokers step back and say "damn" when they look at the cost of the items here
