Bought a trailer in February brand new. Water heater malfunctioning, missing parts, and a horrible walk through that you need to pay extra for. Service department or sales will not return calls for 3 weeks to do warrantied work. Awful Update: Picked up trailer when they said it was fixed. Went camping to find someone used the restroom (#2) and the water heater was not fixed. Did not return my call because 2 service managers had left. Update: Took Jayco trailer in for second time to have original water heater problem fixed, frame gave out, leaking faucet, leaking roof, warping wood. All this in 8 months. Called and said to pick it up because parts are on back order for 4 weeks. This is a 45 min drive, the second time Ive brought for the same problem, and are making me take a weekday off to pick up. Overall so far... because it still isnt fixed... The sales company and service company are two separate entities. They will sell you that trailer with a huge smile. Theyll even sell you a warranty. But when you need something fixed you will deal with a service shop with no accountability or incentive to uphold what was promised. The team also changes over every couple of months. There is no incentive for that service team to help you. All they worry about is capacity
Made 5 unsuccessful attempts to get someone to secure a part for me... The first time I was sent to voice mail but never received a call back. The second time I called I was rudely directed to text them my needs as that's "how we make sure we're responding to all our customers." I never received a meaningful response despite 3 attempts. When I called a third time, I was permitted to speak to the parts person. I needed a panel door replaced so it would require some research effort to source. When I explained that the part needed to be cut to size but I would need their help to confirm the size, the woman on the phone immediately became noticeably annoyed with me. I tried to work through her "communication style" but was eventually invited to take my business to the service center in Manteca. I tried calling again to speak to a manager, but their phone system doesn't give you that option. I finally gave up and called the All Seasons RV in Yuba City. A human answered the phone right away and transferred me to the right person. That person immediately took charge of the problem and found exactly what I needed within 15 minutes. So, I recommend everyone take RVs of Sacramento's own advice: Skip these clowns and take your business to any of the great (or even just good) RV service centers throughout our area.
David Tan, who was the onsite manager today, answered all my questions and then some. Forthright and encouraging too. Hubby and I will be back together next time!
The purchase experience I have no complaints about. Dealing with the service department and warranty issues are another story completely. Worst service I've ever experienced. They have pushed warranty work out claiming parts were back ordered and then couldn't get me an appointment before my warranty expired. I was told they would honor my warranty because they couldn't get me in. That was a lie. When I brought my trailer in 6 weeks after my warranty expired I was told they couldn't do the work. On top of that they lied to me about a recall. Claiming they needed to replace the stovetop as part of the recall (Jayco confirmed it was not part of the recall) and that they wouldn't be able to replace it with black which matches the rest of my appliances, it would be stainless steel and they aren't required to match it as long as it's a working part. They damaged the stove top and now want to mismatch my appliances because of their mistake. DO NOT BRING YOUR TRAILER HERE FOR WORK!!
