This childcare center is OK, but maybe not the best for infants. There are a few things I was not thrilled about. 1. all the infants are in the same classroom. What this means is the younger babies get stuck sitting in swings or bouncy seats all day because there are older babies crawling and cruising around the room and it wouldn't be safe for them to be on the floor. So the younger babies don't get the tummy time and floor play they need for their development. 2. The infant classroom is connected to the 1 year old classroom. This makes it VERY loud in the room which makes it difficult for babies to take naps. Our son had a very hard time napping here and would be a miserable wreck by the time he got home. 3. They claim they are breastfeeding friendly, however, I constantly had problems with the staff not understanding how to properly feed a breastfed baby. I asked them to pace bottle feed, which I do think they tried to, however didn't seem to have the time to try and do it properly. They also thought every time my baby cried he was hungry, when really what he needed was more sleep, more stimulation, and more attention. When he was home with my husband, he would take less milk throughout the day than what I was sending to the daycare, however they kept telling me he was hungry and to send more milk. I didn't have any more milk to send, so it would have meant giving him formula for no good reason. I am completely fine with supplementing with formula if it's needed and have done it on multiple occasions, but not just to make staff's job easier. Lastly, I did not feel my concerns about my baby were really heard in regards to his sleep difficulties. Times when I would go nurse him or try to help him get to sleep, I would put him in a swing almost asleep, and a staff person would go over and start interacting and smiling and playing with him when he fussed a little bit. When I mentioned not to stimulate him when he needs to fall asleep, I was completely ignored and the staff person kept doing it. My husband or myself were there everyday basically helping with his care, so why were we paying them? Perhaps this daycare would work fine for a very easy baby without a lot of attention needs and that falls asleep anywhere without problems, but it did not work for our baby. Some positives, they were very flexible with the schedule and I did feel that the staff really cared about the babies/children.

My son started here at age two was there until age four he cried every day and hated it. The teachers are dry and do not speak in the mornings they do not seem very involved or seem to love children. Horrible experience.

My children have attended Method for 4.5 years and we have been pleased with the center. The staff are kind, responsible, and always seeking to grow professionally through training. The community support is amazing - from a strong board to volunteer groups to the parent committee. My kids have learned so many skills. Examples include learning letters and colors, how to use silverware and clean up after themselves at table, potty training, gardening, and public speaking through show and tell. My son says every night at the dinner table that playing with his friends on the playground at Method was the highlight of his day. Great diversity and so much love at this center! A true gem in the rough.

Highly recommend MCDC to any parent looking for quality full-time care for their child. We really appreciate the staff here who treat your children with love and respect while also providing parents with quick responses to any questions and very good hours. Love especially the wonderful playground and emphasis on outdoor play!

They dont have your child best interest at hand. When incidents happen they just work together to cover things up. They dont communicate well with parents and I didnt feel it was a safe environment for my child.
