I worked with Develop Arica for two months as part of my Summer of Service as a Bonner Scholar. The people that make Develop Africa possible were what I enjoyed most about my experience. The team at Develop Africa takes the initiative in changing lives, demonstrating integrity and honesty. They are innovators who overcome obstacles and expectations in order to solve the worlds societal and ecological problems. They are inspiring people who help provide education for children who would otherwise lack the opportunity to obtain it. The team at Develop Africa are not only caring, and compassionate but are also witty and funny, guaranteed to put a smile on your face and make you laugh. If you love listening to hilarious stories while helping make a change, Develop Africa is right for you. I loved working with Develop Africa this summer, and I hope to work with them again in the future.

Well being here for the past 5 months has taught me a lot not just limited to MS office learning, but also help me connect with people from different background. I realize that the staffs here are friendly to every student and the manner in which teaching/lecturing is done is good, makes students who are slow in learning understand every bit of the lectures throughout and more importantly classes are taken three times a week, which makes people have time to do other things with their lives. I learnt that when people have a definite purpose in life and find the right place to transform their lives and reach their full potential, they can accomplish so much that they thought wouldn't have been possible. Me coming here is something I didn't regret at all, cause when we look at life as it is now, you don't need a university degree to get a career. Thanks to DASL sincerely, cause since the outbreak I was just at goofing all day every day, but ever since a friend of mine recommended me coming, I realize I was really wasting time doing nothing productive and waiting for the day University will resume classes since there was an industrial strike. So yeah, am glad I took the step coming here. Thank You!
