My sister and I went to Sunshine Camp when We where little kids, and then my youngest brother/sister went to sunshine camp and NO one has ever had a problem being here but NOW all that change, My son just got back he had fun he's 8 yrs old my daughter is 9 and she's a diabetic and she was there for ONE night because she's a diabetic and the nurses there did not want to deal with her. Paresa is a VERY VERY RUDE PERSON how do you tell a parent that there child is a liability because she's a diabetic. That is NOT right to kick a child out of camp due to her condition, the fact that she know's how to take her insulin herself. and you call the parent's at 8 in the morning to tell us our daughter can't be at the camp cause she's a liability and y'all don't want to deal with her . YOU GET THOUSAND AND THOUSAND OF KIDS AND YOU CAN'T NOT TELL ME YOU HAVEN'T GOTTEN ONE CHILD....AT-LEAST WHO WAS A DIABETIC... AND WE WILL TAKE LEGAL ACTION..
Were so sorry to hear this. We have called you and left you a message. It's very important to us to better understand the situation. Please call us back at your earliest convenience.

Please don't send your kids here! I just picked my daughter up from camp. We got in the car and she broke down in tears. It was her first year and she will never be going again. She had a terrible experience! She was bullied everyday of the 10 days she was there buy a group of girls. She told staff and nothing was done to the girls instead she was gaslight and made out to be the issue. When I asked her where the staff was when all this was happening she said they took lots of bathroom breaks. I'm someone that does my due diligence in reading reviews and so I felt it very necessary to make parents aware of the traumatic experience my daughter had with hopes that no one else's child goes through what she did.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS PLACE! The staff is amazing, kind, and really seem to enjoy working with the kids. My kids always have a great time here and they never want to leave. They took precautions during COVID and even after it seemed to die down a bit. This is a wonderful organization and I'm grateful for what they offer to the community of Austin.
I went when I was in elementary , it was so horrible! I wouldn't go there ever again. They wouldn't allow me to go home or call my parents. The kids did nothing but bully each other. The food for us was so disgusting. We didn't have a choice to do a certain activity , they made us. They were nice people that's the only good thing I have to say.
