We stayed for 5 days at unit 12 at the Cote D Azur and we paid just over $1000... The apartment was great and spacious and close to everything needed for a holiday.... A real let down though was that there was absoloutely no wifi and one very small TV only in the whole apartment. For the price we paid and the qualtiy of the apartment we naturally assumed Wifi would be available as we have previously stayed at Nelson bay in cheaper accommodation with wifi provided! We would definitely stay at the Cote D Azur again but would check wifi availability prior to booking.
Not impressed, this time around. Second time I have been here, My first experience was good in 2009. The rooms were dusty and not vacuumed, the hinge on the door was not right which was to hard to open the door all the time we came to the room. The mops were dirty and couldnt be used, Bathroom floor was never mopped. The pool had a mouldy edge around the top tiles with the tiles coming off. Parking was very accessible to the room, which was great and Woolworths 30 meters up the road which was good.
Dear Peter, I can't recall you staying with us but possibly under another name. I think you will find it an aberration to my natural demeanour that I was rude, we are in the service industry , you can't get away with being rude , there is no point in it , however if you believe that I was rude to you my heartfelt apology. You may possibly be associated with the unit that sent me a rather aggressive text message at 12.31am, without any name or reference to a unit, to complain about a light from another complex, but alas I have no control over other complexes in Nelson Bay. The point that you totally missed about the pool was that the bulk of the guests who were at the pool at that time were a group of about 20 very rowdy male guests who were in complete contravention of our pool rules , meaning no alcohol , no glass and to please be considerate of other guests. They had been spoken to previously but did not heed the request to obey our rules, they were then spoken to in a more direct manner , which you obviously heard but failed to understand the whyfor of the conversation. I trust this frames your review into more complete overview so that the interested public can see the other side to the dialogue. Regards, Pamela Gilbert

We stayed at the apartments for 2 days over the weekend. The receptionist lady was rude, had no manners and didnt help with any of our requests during the stay. The man manager yelled patrons that were in the pool and threatened to call the cops for being to loud. We felt this was a poor experience and wouldnt recommend this as a place to stay for anyone.
