I made an appointment for a friend of mine who served in the military during and after the Vietnam war. He is in need of assistance. He waited over 2 weeks for the appointment. The man who talked to him did not take him in an office where it was more private. There was a young child and her mother in the lobby. The child was loudly actively playing in the lobby. My friend is in a vulnerable situation in life. He did not feel comfortable talking in an area that was so public. Afterwards, he said he felt like he was treated like a piece of s@&$ and worse than he was already feeling about himself.
