To our former clients at Holtzman Partners: Thank you for sharing this feedback seven months after the conclusion of our redesign and launch of your website. I would like to clarify a few points: 1) For almost the entire duration of our time working together, you consistently had positive things to say about our work. Our email records and meeting notes show more than a dozen positive statements throughout the process, including after the launch, such as, "Were getting some good feedback so far on the sitethank you all for your work on this!" Our email chains up through that point show ZERO indication that you were unhappy with the work we were doing. All indications were that you were a very happy client. 2) It was only later, after your final balance invoice was long overdue, that you began to express unhappiness with the work. In response to our emails reminding you about the balance owed, suddenly you told us that you were unhappy because you felt we "never really understood your business" and so you felt you shouldn't have to pay any of the final balance. 3) We were truly shocked and saddened to learn that you felt this way because, as mentioned earlier, months had passed with no indication of your unhappiness. If you had expressed reservations about the work at an earlier point, we would certainly have adjusted our work at that point to address your concerns. But you did not give us the opportunity for that until after the various projects were finalized and the website was finished and launched. 4) We took the time to painstakingly pull together detailed documentation of every piece of communication we had from you. This documentation showed plainly (over and over again) that you approved of our work, offered praise for it, and gave written permission for several change-of-scope requests. However, upon receiving this documentation, you dismissed it as irrelevant, saying you "didn't want to get into the details." Of course, these details do matter, which is why we maintain records of every interaction, including emails and notes from meetings. It's part of our culture of transparency at Gallant. This way, on any given project, if things are not satisfactory at any point in time, we can correct things along the way--either by spending extra time to make it right (at no charge to you) or offering to redo an assignment, or amicably parting ways if we simply can't reach alignment on the vision. We would have loved to have had the opportunity to make things right with you during the scope of work. Unfortunately, we are not mind readers and simply didn't know anyone on your team was unhappy with the direction we were going. Every time you asked us to work on a new/different project or revise something, we did as you requested and--based on the positive feedback we received on those revisions--we felt we were doing a good job. It is puzzling that you would share this kind of feedback now after all these months, in the midst of a pandemic, especially after all of the documented positive emails that you sent during our time working together. In the eight years that Gallant has been in business, helping more than two dozen national brands on everything from consumer research to graphic design to social media management and web development, we have never experienced a situation like this - where a client has been so blatantly dishonest and done a 180 - providing praise along the way and then saying the exact opposite in a review. Best of luck in all your future endeavors.

Working with Gallant was neither productive nor pleasant. We were ultimately dissatisfied with the quality and quantity of deliverables. Some of this disconnect was driven by our internal process around their creative output. In our opinion, they did not fully understand our business or industrythe design and content they presented reflected little effort to learn more as well as a lack of creativity to adapt to our business. We feel that to get them to a level of understanding of our business; we would have to commit significant internal resources. This made projects untenable from a cost-benefit standpoint. Further, we felt the relationship was not fully transparent. When discussion arose about our dissatisfaction, it seemed that we transformed from a client to an adversary. All communication from Gallant from that point forward was geared to winning an argument, not understanding our perspective. We do not recommend working with them.

Dear Kris Rizzo, We do not have any record of employing, working with, or providing services for someone by the name of Kris Rizzo and there is no one that we can find by this name on Google Plus, LinkedIn, Facebook, or Twitter. As a result, please know we will be flagging this with Google as a fake or inappropriate review. Fortunately for us and for our long list of clients, these accusations that you have made are simply not true. The evidence of our honesty and transparency as an organization is in the measurable results we have gotten for our clients, and the results speak for themselves. For the past five years, Gallant has provided the highest quality marketing services for a wide variety of startups, nonprofits, and small businesses, who have all seen significant growth as a result of our branding and marketing efforts (which include strategic positioning, logo and packaging design, social media management, and website development, among others). Your lack of transparency (e.g. no profile pic, no trackable name on any professional or social media channels) is in stark contrast to the honest, transparent culture we have at Gallant. We are not sure who you are, but we know who we are and we will continue to do great work for all of our clients! Yours truly, Chris

Chris is dishonest, manipulative and a snake. He presents his firm to be bigger than it actually is. On a client visit to the office, I once saw him try to pass off an intern as a full-time employee and someone who worked for a different company in the co-working space as a Gallant employee. Avoid Chris and Gallant Branding at all cost. He is not to be trusted. UPDATE: True to form, Chris has had his wife (co-founder of Yellow Bird Editors) write a glowing review for Gallant without disclosing the relationship. It shouldnt come as a surprise as Gallant was created during his paternity leave from another agency. I guess you could say Gallant has dishonesty and lies built into its DNA. It seems as if Chris holds others to a high moral standard while not living up to that standard himself.
