Went to the nail spa 3 weeks ago. She nicked me twice and acted like nothing happen. Also didn't get as close to the cuticle with the polish on a few nails. It was a decent price for a fill and gel polish and since I came an hour before close I figured she may have just been in a rush after a long day so I decided to give it another try. Came back today for a fill and gel polish and this time the work was even worse. She nicked me again and several nails are lumpy or have things poking from under the polish. I accidentally bumped my right thumb nail under the light which was my bad and she yelled at me and I didn't ask her nor was I planning on asking her to fix it since that was my fault but geez, you'd think she would know not to get so upset since I'm sure she's use to it by now. Every nail has some error to it which is why I won't be going back. Only giving 2 stars for the price and her effort to make conversation.
I took my son to get his hair done here, and what I notice is how extremely unprofessional this place is. This is for lack of a better word the hood away from hood spot. Grant it there's always a degree of raucous behavior at the shop, but this place is loud, extremely vulger, and the barbers partake in conversations best left on the street. Case in point: On my son's visit I heard a barber say "if you have that straight, white - looking hair you can take your ass across the street to great clips." No kidding. This barbershop caters to a particular demographic within the demographic, and if you are looking for a place that makes you feel like you're riding the 64 through the East Side then here's the place. If you're looking for a place that provides the utmost in professionalism and class don't go here.
